Awesome
I've been wanting this guitar for the last 3 years and am so happy with it. It plays great (mine was already set up decently) and it came with a push/pull coil tap which I was not expecting. Overall this guitar is dope.

decent enough
i wanted this guitar for years and finally coughed up the money to get one. i love esp guitars, i have a vb-300 that i've been playing for 12 years and it's by far the best i've ever played but i really wanted a tele style so thats where my te-200 comes in.the quality is good. the frets are smooth, finish is beautiful and the set up was expertly done.the guitar has a great feel, the wood is high quality and very substantial. it feels like a high quality guitar.shortcomings:the tuners bind up like crazy, i've worked them pretty thoroughly and replaced the strings and still they're just not very good quality. they hold a tune decently enough but the operation just isn't very good.the pickguard is just flimsy. its a single ply piece of plastic and it just detracts from the quality of the instrument. for a $400 guitar i know some corners will be cut but it is what it is.the pickups just aren't very good. which is disappointing considering they're ESP's in house pickups. my favorite sound is the neck pickup with the coil tapped which is disappointing because my whole reasoning for getting the te is because i wanted humbuckers but they just fall short in terms of punchiness.is it a bad guitar? absolutely not. it plays great, it just lacks character.i think this guitar would be a great candidate for some upgrades and is by no means a guitar for beginners.i'm still happy to have it in my collection but it's definitely not going to remain stock for very long.

Amazing Guitar for the price
My headline comes from someone who has Fender American's and Custom Shops, EPS EC-1000s, Epiphone LP Special's and this guitar (with upgraded Mark Holcomb PUPS) puts every other guitar I own to shame. The neck is amazingly fast and smooth and with the new PUPS and a coil-split this thing shreds.

Not recommended
The guitar was well packaged but came out dirty out of the box. The finish on the body is ok. The fingerboard is dirty and has all kinds dirt under the satin finish - I'll need to refinish it. The guitar comes with a terrible nut, that's not even well placed - there's a huge gap under it. A lot of fret buzz with the factory setup. There's one dead fret - 6th fret on 6th string. Apart from that, fret job is decent. Tuning keys are the generic die cast ones, but are very imprecise compared to similar one on other guitar makes.Pickups sound surprisingly good.My advice - at this price range - get an Ibanez.
