Tamale Spreaders
We make out holiday tamales every Christmas. We got tired of using spoons, so we started using these. In a word, magical!

Flexible spreaders for curved areas
These are not “normal” spreaders. These are thin, and super flexible. They are best used to spread filler in curved areas. The closer to the finished product you can apply filler, the less time you have to spend sanding. With these spreaders, you can hold them in curved shapes, to accomplish that. Because they are very thin, do not put them in the left over bondo, and try to break it out when it hardens. Wipe them down with thinner before the filler hardens, and they will last a real long time. I highly recommend this product for any serious tradesmen. I am a auto body tech with 40+ years experience.

These work perfect (for me).
I have to agree with some of the other reviews that these spreaders are fairly soft; not rigid. For me, they work PERFECT! I use them to work air bubbles out of epoxy on fiberglass and fair rounded surfaces. So they are great if you are spreading something thin. They're clean and defect-free (unlike some others I've used). Very smooth edges. Nice.

Great tool to have in anyone's shop!
Great little tool to have in your shop. I use it for the application of bondo body filler, it's nice not having to scrounge up a piece of cardboard to mix your filler on, best of all it's easy to clean after finishing use and love the fact it's reusable. Will come in handy for years to come. The applicators are flexible and made well, easy to clean and reusable. Overall nice handy durable tool. I would highly recommend this for anyone doing any kind of DIY auto body work, or for any other DIY projects that this tool may come in handy for.

Good for cheap projects, not for high quality
You get what you pay for. Yes they are flexible, yes the edges are sharp and they are correct size but for the price I guess I was expecting too much. Was going to use these for my drum building and woodworking, specifically grain filling and smoothing but that's not possible when there's bits and pieces of what appear to be residual plastic resin from the production process. And by the reviews, I can tell I'm not the only one with this issue. I would recommend if you need a cheap kind that is NOT going to be used to create a flat work surface but if that is what you are after then do yourself a favor and look at other items, quality control just isn't there.

Good price but take a look at my recommendation
Good items to have at a good price but dried body filler is definitely not easy to get off. I would recommend putting a piece of stretch wrap over before you mix as the cleanup is much easier. Just throw the stretch wrap away.

Very thin, stamped blades
The blades were stamped and not edged, I had to use a file and sharpener to use them at all as the edges were still rolled from where they had been stamped out. I purchased these to use to spred gesso on canvases so they will work after a bit of work on them but for most putty knife uses they would not work.

Work well and easy to clean
It’s always hard to find good spreaders, these are actually pretty good. They could be a tad thicker to eliminate some flex but still work rather well. Easy to clean but the rubber doesn’t hold u to paint thinner real well. So if your one of the guys who soaks your spreaders to clean them, it’s not a good idea with these. I just use one to scrape the other before it sets all the way up and it comes clean real easy. Will buy more when needed
