Good product
I brought this supplement for my son when he was a baby about 10 years ago, and it really helped with his weight gain.So when my daughter started teething about a month ago and she started losing appetite and weight I had to get her something to boost her appetite and then I thought of this vitamin. Omg she is back on track, I highly recommend it to every parent out there.

Bad smell and taste
I was running out of the one my sister had bright back from the UK for me so decided to order online, when I opened it to compare, it had an expiration date of March 2024 which is in two months and the worst part is that the smell was so bad and tasted like fish, so went straight into the trash.

Great product - I wish I gave it to my daughter before she started daycare
My daughter continuously was getting sick from daycare when she started at 3 months, so my mom told me to use Abidec with her since that is what they all used when she grew up (she grew up in the British system). I have started to use it on her at 6 months and although we are waiting for her congestion to stop (this was from a previous cold), she hasn't gotten any new full blown colds. (Side note: My mom happened to just tell me about it around 6 months. If I have known before, I would have given it earlier.)Although there was a day where she was showing signs that she was getting sick, the next day, she was fine. This is a definite change from before when we were visiting the doctor frequently and she had already had antibiotics twice. My mom said that it is better to start the child on Abidec before a cold, so I will be sure to do that with my next.Just FYI: It does contain peanut oil, so for those who have allergies to that, stay away. However, with the new rule about LETTING your child be exposed to peanuts to reduce the risk of allergies, this is perfect because she definitely is getting exposed to it.The only complaint I have about the product is that it stains really bad. I use on of those "cowboy" bibs (my own word) when I give it to her because she of course is going to spit some out (I didn't say she loves to take it, but she had been worse with other medicines) and it provides maximum coverage. That's why I took a notch off the stars --- once it gets on clothing, good luck. You need to really treat the stain and sometimes that doesn't work. This is not a vitamin you can give to your child in a rush.Currently, kids are getting sick at her daycare (again) and so far, so good.
