Pricey Quality
I have had numerous Beta fish throughout my 40 years of life. I've never spent so much on food for them but after losing so many to various ailments, even in spite of having good water parameters, etc. I had decided that it was time to stop fooling around with cheap Beta food. In addition to frozen and fresh brine shrimp, and frozen bloodworms, I alternate with these pellets (it's their staple). The Beta fish never hesitated to eat this like they have with any other pellet I have tried to feed them. I haven't had any sickness in my fish since I've used this product but that doesn't say for sure that it is the product itself. I do recommend softening the product in water from their tank, before feeding them. Apparently when the pellets are too hard, it can lead to constipation which is bad. The guppies in the tank often grab these as well. As small as they are, they seem to be able to hold them in their mouth until they are soft enough for them to swallow. These can be crushed with the back of a spoon too if needed, to accommodate smaller fish. I recommend this product for those who are looking for a higher quality betta food in bulk. There sure is a lot in the package.

Worth it!!
Excellent nutrition for Betta's. After getting my first Betta and dealing with one issue after another with her despite pristine tank conditions I decided that maybe the 3 dollar store pellets I was feeding her were not doing her or me any good. After doing some research I found this food and am so happy with it I ordered the 15 dollar bottle. Pictured is my newest male. When I got him he barely had a tail fin. After a week on this food, alternated with frozen bloodworms and Daphnia his tail has doubled in size and there is growth on his other fins as well. My dumbo ear Male also has had a torn top fin since I got him that just will not heal and is already finally showing improvement on this food. My female is hanging in there but after a year on junk food she's just not the girl she used to be. Do yourself a favor. If you want a gorgeous, healthy happy Betta fish, Buy this food.

High Performance Betta food
I was unsure of spending so much on food for our new family pet but I have to let you know, prevously our fish seemed dull and never excited for feeding. He never seemed to swim around much before the food switch and almost seemed like he was Ill with his lack of energy. We switched from a Betta flake food to ocean nutrition pellets and I really couldn't be happier with the changes we have seen. This container is very large and should last a very long time for our one fish. The expiration date stamped on the bottom is 3 years away. I recommend this food as I've watched my fish go from being dull and low energy to swimming more and highly excited for feeding. Excellent food, glad I found this brand! Well worth the few extra dollars, the quality shows.

Betta is eating it
My betta was having trouble eating pellets but he's been having a good time eating these. Theyre very very tiny.

Ocean Nutrition is Best Nutrition!
This food is it! At a perfect .5 mm diameter pellet for your betta’s mouth, I got my first breeder betta on this food the moment I got him. The pictures I’ve included are of my betta 5 months into eating these pellets in conjunction with other various foods I keep in his diet. Just from the pellets I can tell he’s healthy and at his most colorful. He gets excited to come up and eat from these pellets, so it’s clear he loves them! I 100% recommend these to any one looking for good quality betta pellets. Don’t listen to the bad reviews!

Perfect pellet size for a new betta
The most important consideration I had when choosing this food was the pellet size. The "mini" pellets that you buy at the store are not very mini, and my two-month-old betta could not get them down. These pellets are truly tiny, and he is able to eat them easily. They are very lightweight and float away quickly if the air stone and filter are on, so I feed them to him one by one (5 of them in the morning and another 5 at night, while he's still growing), in a quiet corner, and it's a fun bonding moment each time. For variety, I also have a supply of Sustainable Aquatics "Dry Hatchery Diet" which is also a very small pellet size. It looks like the 1-1.2mm pellets are the biggest my baby fish can handle.

LARRY IS OBSESSED
Larry went crazy for this food and it’s the only brand I have found that does not use fish meal! Only time he’s gone after more than 1 or 2 pellets , he ate like 5 at once !! Also small enough they don’t pop back out of his mouth when he eats them !

My fussy eater is happy
I have a male betta who refuses any frozen foods, which I prefer to feed my fish. To make up for that a bit, I wanted a variety of prepared foods for him. Figure that way I can vary up his diet hopefully enough to make up for the potential shortcomings of flakes/pellets. Unfortunately, he's picky. This is definitely going in the rotation!!! He went nuts as soon as the first pellet hit the water.
