Lucky is back!!!
This is my first time reading all the Lucky Santangelo books and I'm LOVING it!!! This time Lucky tries to buy a major film studio to help her husband get ahead. Naturally almost everything goes wrong. Yeah it's long (629 pages) but never dull and full of twists and turns with complex characters and situations. At one point it seemed like it was two books combined into one. At the halfway mark everything seemed to be wrapped up and OK until other complications set in. My only real complaint is it has a HUGE cast of characters to keep track of and sometimes gets confusing. Hower Collins was a good enough writer to explain who they were in an easy way. A really fun engrossing book! :)

Raunchy and wonderful!
Jackie Collins does it again. Fast paced and crammed with interesting characters. You won't want to put this one down. After reading this book about Hollywood stars and sundry other interesting people, I am so glad to be living an ordinary life as a housewife. If you like this author you will love this one.

Guilty not guilty pleasure
Re-reading the Santangelo saga brings back so many memories, but also showed me why I named my son Gino! So much about this series makes me look back in time and realize how impactful they were they were to me as- then- a young woman, and now, an old one! Fast paced, exciting, cliff hangers around every corner--- empowerment, middle finger to the system- simply love reacquainting myself with the characters and traveling back in time! a very comfy and fun space to relax, in to Lucky and Lenny's next adventure!

Fantastic
Lucky was one talented woman. I love that she bought Panther studios to help her husband Lennie. I loved that Lucky went undercover for six weeks as a condition of Abe Panther to buy the studio this way she found out what was going on and Abe was able to get back at his grand children who didn't really care about him they just wanted his money. Jackie Collins is brillant. I tried to get this book and could never get it. It was definitely worth the wait.

If you like Lucky, you will love this
If you're a fan of Lucky and the characters around her, you will enjoy this book. If you're new to the series, maybe not so much. It's better to start with Chances and read them in order. Lucky tends to wander into Mary Sue territory more often than not, but the story is great, lots of intertwined plots andcharacters, both shady and sweet.

Great read that keeps you guessing
This is a really great light read for someone just wanting to be taken away for a while into another world altogether. I enjoyed the strong female characters. However, this Hollywood world is one I would never want to be a part of. It it is interesting to read about, especially all the weird characters, and the author is incomparable in describing each one. Pure entertainment.

Beautiful love story
This book was a bit different from the others. Not such a gripping back story. I still love Lucky though. This time she was lucky too!! Pun intended. 🤣🤣

Loved it
I love Jackie Collins’ way of writing. My favourite amongst her creations is Lucky. Her stories are an escape from my mundane everyday life. I am so happy that I could collect the Kindle version.

Lady Boss
This is another excellent book featuring Lucky & Lennie written by Jackie Collins. Lennie is currently under contract with Panther Studios to make 3 movies but while working on his first one he realises he made a huge mistake and knows they will sue if he walks away. Coincidentally Lucky is contacted by Abe the 80 year old owner of Panther, he offers to sell her the company on one condition, she works undercover for 6 weeks. The book has the usual mix of beautiful Hollywood women, handsome men, extramarital affairs and intrigue.

spannend
