WindRiderPro Foul Weather Gear - Rain Suit - Breathable and Waterproof

I just got back from 32 hours on the water down the California Coast- I am disappointed in this foul weather gear. The buddy I went with had on gear from West Marine, I checked his out, and now regret not spending the extra money- the difference in design and quality was easily apparent:-fit: the bibs gap open at the top, I am 5"10, height weight appropriate (in shape) and wore size Medium. The bibs did not fit really well- the shoulder straps are positioned poorly, chafing my neck to the point I had to loosen the straps more than needed to hold them up properly. This is due to the design and placement of the straps.-design: lots of little things are not good about these. Example: the jacket- when I was going around Point Conception and encountered cold wind, I zipped up the jacket all the way only to find the interior of the jacket had no cloth covering to protect the top of the zipper which lands right at the mouth. So there you are, with a zipper pull-tab sticking into your face- not cool at all. I checked out my buddies jacket, and it was designed such that when fully zipped, the zipper was covered with cloth material so it is not rubbing against your mouth/face.In short, I would return these if I could, but I did use them once, so don't think I can. These may be better for the outdoor enthusiast or weekend warrior, but when heading out on a 32 hour straight sail on the water, they lack certain features that make them the best choice, in my opinion.On the upside, the price is attractive, and they have plenty of well positioned pockets.

Excellent product, excellent service. The quality of this foul weather gear exceeded our expectations. I would recommend this to every fisherman out there. Takes a lot to impress my husband and he was impressed. I am sure all his friends will be ordering this suit.

I LIKE EVERY THING ABOUT THE GEAR EXCEPT THE LENGTH OF THE PANTS BUT THAT SEEMS TO BE STANDARD WITH ALL FOUL WEATHER GEAR, I WAS HEADED AND JUST GOT BACK FROM A 7 DAY LONG RANGE TUNA TRIP OUT OF SAN DIEGO CA--ON SHORT NOTICE I TOOK THE BIBS TO AN ALTERATIONS LADY AND SHE CUT OFF 10 INCHES OF THE LEGS IF YOU DO THIS HAVE THEM MAKE THE LOWER CUT ABOVE THE VELCRO SO THAT IS SEWEN BACK ON AFTER THE XTRA IS REMOVED, COST ME $ 40 I USED TO BE A COMMERCIAL FISHERMAN I LOVE EVERY THING ABOUT THE SUIT/buy again

I loved this outfit. I love the outdoors and have tried to find a good quality rain suit that would keep my dry during the rain when I am out in the wild. I have owned many rain suits but none of them would hold up over time and none of them really fit me well. I am 5'6" 165 lbs. and ordered a medium. The first was tight but comfortable and with enough room to move, run and jump in comfort. I took this outfit on a fishing trip in Northern Idaho where it rains at least once a day if not twice. The weather was cool and chilly this time of year but fly fishing is awesome. I wore this outfit many times during the week and stayed warm and dry without any water leaking into the jacket which is what always seems to happen cutting my days short due to getting cold. This outfit is sturdy, has good craftmanship and the quality is better than outfits I have purchased for a lot more money. It is designed for being on the ocean so I thought this would be great in any rainy condition and I was not wrong. I have purchased a set for my wife and kids and also convinced my dad to buy one for him and my mom. I am sure as the years go on there will be many others I convince to buy this gear. I am completely sold.

I work as an Arborist in Utah.I am required to work outside in all kinds of weather conditions. I was drawn to this raingear by certain features that it has. The reinforced crotch, knees, retractable hood, rubber cuffs on the jacket, double zipper configuration and the multitude of pockets. I have yet to use the raingear in a sever rainstorm, but I am very confident that it will perform excellent. I normally buy Grudens raingear, but I felt that WindRider has exceeded the quality and design of the Grudens for only $38.00 more. I look forward to using my WindRider Pro Foul Weather Gear - Rain Suit and expect them to last at least three to five years in the harsh conditions that I will be using them in.

Bought this set for my bass fishing husband for Christmas and while he hasn’t been able to get on the water with it yet, he has been very excited about it! Compared to the cold weather gear at the big bass stores, it seems like equal quality for half the price! A set at the big bass stores will run you OVER $500! I looked at reviews of this set on other sites and if this is good enough for sailors, it should be good enough on a Texas lake in the winter! I only gave 4 stars because we haven’t used it yet!

Ordered this for my husband who is a commercial driver and needed something climbing in and out of the rig in very wet climates. This suit is excellent.My guy is 6’0 and almost 250. The 3XL works great and plenty of leg room to roll up and snap the legs. Quality product and material. Easy mobility. Not too hot. This company really thought it out and they say that on their website.

Only used 3 times while sailing. Heavy duty, well made and for sailing as waterproof as needs to be. Haven't worn it in heavy rain or serious wet conditions so I can't attest to how it will perform in sever conditions. The sizing is big and I had to return a large size for medium; I am 5'11"and 175 lbs and you could have fit two of me in the large size. The return was quick and painless.
