It has lasted for some months now. Slight burning or corrosion on the surface of the hot metal inside. Dual speed control. Overall good product.However the first product shipped to me was not as per product image and defective. Had to ask for a replacement. So be careful.

Stopped working in less than a month!!!!
It stopped working within a month of me purchasing it.. problem is it stopped working after the return period had lapsed.... so I could not do anythung about it.Complete waste of my money

Finally received a replaced heat gun with a good box packing and the best part is that the gun is working

Cheap quality product
More of a hair dryer rather than a heat gun... Very cheap quality plastic. Does the job of packing with plastic wrap but will not last long....

Never even think of buying this.
Worst product ever. On the first look itself it looked like a used one. Dirt all over . So even the trial run was done with precaution. So this is how the experience was . Immediately after switching on, saw the smoke coming out, no blow, no heat, just smoke . In few seconds the inner coil turned red hot and a few seconds later , FIRE CAME OUT AND THE GUN STARTED BURNING. as I mentioned before , we were on high precautions, expecting something like this to happen so no one was hurt. !So the review is for 2 types of people1) WHO DÒESNT CARE OF QUALITY / SAFETY, BUT 500 RS MATTERS. -You will need an insurance. so pls make sure that you are insured good.2) WHO CARES FOR SAFETY/ QUALITY OVER 500RS- Pls dont even think of buying this crap. Its that dangerous!

Ok type product. Not so good.
It's not so hardy and sturdy. The on-off switch is cheap in quality and no idea how long it will last. Rest all are fine.First time I gave 3 star. After using 10days I'm supposed to give single star only. The day I use it first, when i switched on and use it for first 1min., the gun expelled the smokey air including burning/fuming smell. As soon as I checked it i switched it off. Though it works fine later on. But having heating issues. I brought Black & Decker through amazon shopping, that works fine. But it has heating issue. Doesn't seem to be 2000W, it seems to be 700W.
