In an age where religions and people debate endlessly on which religion is right, who's in God's grace, etc, its comforting to find a book like this, which does not take sides. Rather, it speaks to everyone, no matter who you are, what your faith, or where you live.The book is made up of lots of small little conversations, where God reassures you about issues of fear, lonliness, loss, etc. In a way, you could call this book "God for dummies", because it shows you in simple, everyday language, what God is. It simply is about a God who loves and cares about you, who wants to comfort and reassure you.The writting style is simple and beautiful. I do believe, in my own personal opinion, that God was working through Mrs. Cameron, speaking words of comfort and reassurance.The overall message of this book is, "I love and care about you. Let me into your life, and I can help you make it great. I will always be there for you, no matter how hard things get, for I am love, and that is all I have for you." I don't see how anyone can miss the message here. God is love. God loves you for who you are, no matter what you believe.Perhaps this quote can say it better. "For me, you are never seperate, never small. I made this world as my gift to you. It is my joy when you enjoy it, when you feel safe and secure. This is my intention for you always. Take comfort in me as your creator and your protector. you are my own." (Pg 46).I highly recommend this book to everyone. It can cure any bad feelings i'm feeling when I'm reading it, and it always makes me feel better, because in my heart, I know that it's messages are true.

It seems like every time I open this book it speaks to where I am at that time. I go to it when I am hurting, sad, fearful, or down on myself and open to a random page and Bam! Just what I need, comfort from the Devine. I give mine away or give it as a gift and hope it comforts the other person as it has for me.

Really a special book full of hopeful messages and easy to read in times of distressShort passages to bring hope

This book is a jewel. It is so down-to-earth with God, who is so loving and caring, responding, for example, to feelings we have about ourselves every day, such as "You doubt you are lovable." I would say that this type of answered prayer to our feelings makes up the majority of the book's prayers. I found so many to be so pertinent to me.The book also includes answers from God concerning things we might think about, such as "The noise of the world is too much for you," or that God sees in us, such as "You speak to me, but you do not listen."It is not a cover-to-cover read, but rather a dip-into book to find something that resonates with you at the moment. As I said, the majority of the book are answers to feelings we have about ourselves every day; and these, I found, especially helpful and wonderful. God, it seemed, was speaking to me in a very personal way.This book does not require you to be highly religious. I would say it's a spiritual approach to God talking to you in a one-to one fashion.I very highly recommend this book.

I have probably purchased 30 copies of this book over the years. It's one I give away often! I use excerpts from it at the beginning of speaking engagements, at weddings I perform and even at the graveside ceremony for my brother-in-law.For me, it's a part of my daily routine. I hold the book in my hands and let it open to the page that I need that day. More often than not, it's a message that is on target that hits me right between the eyes.It's beautifully written, uplifting, provides great support and reminders of our direction connection to Source... And that we have the full love and support of that wonderful source.

I have given this book over & over as a gift & everyone including me have loved it,it has helped me through difficult times & I refer to it a lot.
