Good protection for Diode laser angraving and cutting
Make sure you know the wavelength of whatever laser you're using to ensure it is safe. I'm using an Ortur Laser Master 3 and these work to protect my eyes from that beam's reflection so I can view the work getting cut or engraved. Nice having a second pair in case I misplace one of them or want to have someone view it with me.

Much better
These are a lot darker and provide better protection then the ones that came with my laser. Really glad I upgraded.

these actually worked great for the high powered blue laser i got a few days before this product. price was great for the amount you get but they are kinda cheap plastic if you aren't careful and drop them.

Good quality
Not bad you get 2 in case you break one. But they seem pretty sturdy. Hopefully I don’t need the second one for a while

VERY GOOD PRICE - DECENT QUALITY - BUT...
So, here's what you'll want to know:1. I purchased these to use with my blue laser etching/cutting machine.2. The color of the lens really is red. Not too dark a red so as to make them hard to use, but dark enough to help cut down on blue laser light reflections. The best color for blue lasers is actually supposed to be orange, but red doesn't do a bad job of it cutting back on blue light. But still, orange is the correct color to use.3. There's no way of knowing the true OD rating for these glasses, but I would not use ANY glasses for constantly looking at the impact area of a blue laser. But I think they are good enough to just as an added safety measure. I will soon have my laser placed into an enclosure, which is truly the safest way to operate a laser.4. The goggles that came with my laser machine were a dark green and that is kind of far from the orange color in the color wheel. By the way, why is orange the correct color for blue lasers? Look at a color wheel and you'll see that orange is located just opposite of blue.5. I had hoped to use these glasses OVER my prescription lens. But they did not fit well over my glasses. So if your glasses are average size, be aware that they might not fit over them. But I did find a way to remedy this problem... please keep reading on:6. To help widen the glasses to fit over my prescription glasses, I did the following:a. The glasses are made of 2 parts... the frame and the red lens insert. I found a black plastic pin sticking out from the middle of the frame that plugs into the top of the red lens. Carefully pull the lens backward to release it from the pin.b. Then, while holding the frame on top, carefully rotate the red lens downward, until both ends "unhook" from the frame. This is VERY easy to do, and there's no chance of the red insert or the frame breaking.c. You will noticed that the red insert is curved from side to side. This is the problem; if it was straight across, then the glasses would be wide enough to wear over prescription lens. We're going to fix this.d. While using thick gloves to hold the red insert, slowly heat up the center of the lens (near the nose piece) with a hot blow dryer until the plastic starts to soften.e. At this point, you can straighten the red insert. Once it easily straightens out, immediately dip it into cold water. Once the red insert cools down, it will maintain the straightened shape.f. Return the red insert back to the frame by first inserting the left and right ends while the red insert is still rotated below the frame. Rotate the insert back up and into the frame, and then maneuver the black plastic pin back into the center-top part of the lens... and you're done! At this point, the glasses may be wide enough to fit over your glasses.7. The safety glasses both come with a decent case... but they really need croakies or "eyewear retainers" to keep them from falling off your face. They are adjustable, and they do hold on fairly well, but the last thing in the world you could ever want, is for you safety glasses to fall off while working around a laser.8. The most negative thing I can say about them is that they give about average coverage. But I can still see above and below the glasses. And the side plates could be bigger, if the manufacturer is listening! So I will have to be sure not to let the laser light creep around or over the lens, when around an operating laser machine. A LOT of glasses are like this, but the ones I like most, give better coverage.9. Would I buy again, if I had it to do over? Yes, I would... as the price made it easier for me to have a couple of extra pairs of laser safety glasses around, just in case a friend drops by and wants to be anywhere near the laser. But again, please remember that my laser will soon be in an enclosure.I hope all this info helps you to make an informed decision on whether to buy or not buy... and thank you for reading my review!
