100Amp Disconnect Knife Switch，3 Pole Double Throw Knife Safety Disconnect Switch for 3Phase Circuit

I work from home and need to be able to switch my office from mains to generator when the mains are down. This is a great inexpensive solution. Plus I only need to draw 240 volts at about 50 amps so that makes it even more perfect. I installed this about a month ago in about an hour and it's performed very well, without any warming, or other things that might raise an eyebrow or two.

The current carrying hardware is sufficient. the plastic cover is cheap but will protect against stray fingers. should be mounted inside a metal covered box, not outdoors.

Worked to switch a 240V 60 amp circuit from an A/C unit to auxiliary heater, worked great.

if you need a transfer switch like this, buy a good one. This one does not inspire confidence. Screws strip and don't tighten enough.
