I buy this exact thermometer for every baby shower I go to and to date - everyone has loved theirs. We loved ours , our first lasted a little over 5 years which is a great lifespan. We ordered a second one and love it just as much.

Quick, accurate and very easy to use.

First off, as a medical professional, I love this brand. With that said, I hate these particular thermometers.I bought two of these to have in hand now that the sick season is here. They both show different temperature even if taken at the same time. The numbers are completely different. I also compares these with the ones used at the hospital and found neither reading was accurate in the least. These are so all over the place and give false readings. I’m sending them back for a refund. I’ll be buying a different brand.

I've been sick for 6 weeks(not covid), so having a guide to report to Dr is important. 1st time I take temp it always registers 102.5. after 2 more tries it evens out & becomes a consistent temp which has averaged 101-102 yellow or red light depending on time of day. I then check another family member, they register between 97.0-99. I then recheck mine and get the 101-102. I bought the cheaper no name "Amazon recommended' as well and it registers 97.9 for everyone but doesn't seem to be returnable, so I'm out $16 for that one. All in all this Braun seems decent. Also had bought the glass Geratherm, impossible to hold in mouth, never registered above 96. Would just like to feel confident in what the temp is.

Easy to use because it quickly powers on, loads itself, tells you exactly where to aim on your forehead, and instantly reads your temp. It’s also accurate. I took my temp just prior to visiting the doctor, and it was spot on with the doctor’s thermometer.

This works great even when trying to take the temperature of a wiggling, screaming baby. It’s simple, fast and accurate. Just remember to take off the clear protective cover before using.
