Prevail Guards for Men, Case/208 (4/52s)

Amazon refused my reorder of Depends w/o a Prime membership, ANNOYING. Then ordered Prevail.Comparing; Are about same weight, tho Depends seems puffier and are individually wrapped. Seemed to be no absorbency difference.Prevail assembly measures 12" x 5 1/2" vs 12" x 5 5/8", though Prevail has slightly more mid-pad area, along with longer elastic seaming than Depends for somewhat better fit.Prevail's adhesive strip area covers 10 3/4" x 2" vs 9 1/2" x 1 7/8" for better adhesion to shorts without Depend's uncomfortable peeloff, at top and sides.I received shipment from MVS Discount Sales on 1st day of estimated delivery window.

I ordered like I always order 52 4x52 for a total of 208. They changed the men guard and I was expecting the change. I like what they did on the top half of the guard. However they did away with half of the material in the bottom of the guard. I don't know if this was a cost cutting mode or another reason. But I buy Prevail because I count the guard to cover my leakage and be consistent in manufacturing. As it is now it does not hold my leakage and I don't know what to do about it. This product is not going to help me in the near future. I will need to change products. I have a neurological disorder and I am bound to a electric wheelchair. This will not help me their changes to their product.update: after using the new guard for a while they seem to be working. I had some guards in the top of the bag that didn't have enough material on the bottom, but since then it's been okay. The system is working as long as they don't change the material content again. Satisfied once again.

After using for a month, I'm very pleased with Prevail guards. I have had no surprise break through leakage. While similar in shape to most elongated pads, they seem slightly longer. The absorption is very uniform and uses most of the pad unlike some I've tried that tend to concentrate leakage and become saturated mostly in one area. Comfort is good. Purchase by the case from Amazon with home delivery more convenient than buying locally. Prevail is now my preferred brand.

Work as well as a product like this can. Grumpy old men like me don't like to have to use things like this, but they sure beat wet pants and allow me to watch a short movie to the end. I think they work a little better than the Depends, but liked having the bladder of a younger man better.
