I spent much, too much, time reading reviews and considering other cups, (finish, design, handle, flavor, safety).Craftmanship is great, they feel good in the hand, on the lips, radiates the icy cool and they look good.Do yourself a favor--buy these and you'll be pleased!

I like that the inside is copper as well as the outside. Lots of other copper mug options use stainless steel or nickel on the interior which kinda ruins the charm. It's coated with a food-safe lacquer though (or so says the paper that comes with the mug) to avoid copper poisoning which is, ya know, appreciated. Apparently, according to science, copper mugs don't do much to keep a drink colder than regular glassware and the copper isn't going to interact with the acidity of any drink you put in it thanks to the food-safe lacquer (and selling a copper mug without a lacquer coating is illegal as far as I know, so you won't find a "pure" copper mug anywhere), so just know ahead of time that using this for moscow mules or whatever you choose is mostly a matter of aesthetics and following tradition, because in terms of taste and temperature it isn't different from any ol' glass (although the coldness of the copper provides a nice tactile sensation on hot days.)Anyway, if you're looking for a copper mug I think this is a great one. They add a certain charm to a Moscow Mule even if there isn't much practical reason for using it, and while you could probably find other copper mugs that are equally good, I don't know how you could take a concept as simple as a copper mug and make it better than what's offered here. Copper inside and out, food-safe lacquer, handle is securely welded, nice hammered texture: it checks every box.

Beautiful copper cup with clear lacquer to keep it from tarnishing for a little bit.I purchased it in early Feb 2014 and noticed that the inside of the mug had drips of dried clear lacquer in it. Besides that, it was pretty good workmanship.It's now late March 2014 and the lacquer located inside the rim is fading and the mug is lightly tarnishing as expected. I was washing it recently and it slip out of my hands and fell on the ground. The rim was dented in but I was able to push it back in place.Overall, I would buy it again, just gorgeous looking and my coworkers always send a compliment my way.

I didn't read all the details and quickly learned this mug is not designed for hot beverages by trying it with my coffee. It looks great and is designed for cold drinks. Very pretty!

Good quality 16 oz Moscow mule mug made with 100% polished copper. Smooth finish! No lining inside. Mug has been sprayed with a food safe lacquer which may fade over time and with use. This mug is not for hot drinks! Enjoy your cool ice teas, beverages, mule, or just ice cold water and do not microwave or dish wash them.

A spot showed up and I cannot remove it with copper polish/or baking soda & vinegar. The bottom inside is looking silver, not copper. I'm not sure this is pure copper and it definitely isn't tarnish resistant. Should be able to polish with copper cream, if pure copper. Afraid to even drink out of it now. Purchased another copper vessel from the "mule" brand.

Ordered these because I had heard of the benefits of drinking from copper mugs... Didn't know the history of the Moscow Mule, or the use of Copper Mugs for drinking them, found it interesting to learn about. These are attractive mugs, well made, and hold quite a bit, I actually bought them with the intention of just drinking water from them, however, I have used them to make margarita's (after learning about the Moscow Mules) and my typical recipe for one drink only filled up half the mug -- more margaritas for me!! I would buy them again, and recommend them to others!

Oohh i love this mug. I got this as a Father's day gift for my husband (who loves copper), and his reaction was priceless. He thought it was just a regular mug, but when he opened it, he realized it was copper and his face just lit up like a kid on Christmas morning. I love that it made him so happy. Really good quality mug and it's pure copper, we tested it with a magnet and it didn't attract so it doesn't have any other metal lining or anything. Since copper is an excellent conductor of heat, the mug grows hot when you put hot beverage in it, the handle stays cool though. I'm so glad I got this, perfect gift and best gift ever as my husband described it. 😊

Funktionieren genau so wie sie sollen, halten den Cocktail sehr kalt, und sehen dabei noch richtig chic aus. Liegen auch gut in der Hand!

OMG! Cute as can be! I'm going to make my Gin & Tonic with Lime Today! I know it's meant for a Moscow Mule,I will need to get those ingredients! Excellent made in every way! I just love my Copper Mug to keep any drinks cold,even Lemon Water.

Nur der Anschluss der Henkel sieht etwas unschön aus. Allerdings: wenn man liest, dass die Tassen irgendwo aus Indien kommen, sollte man darüber wohl hinwegsehen. Oder, man lehnt die Tasse gleiche ab, da man ahnen kann, wie sie wohl hergestellt werden und sich fragt, wie der hohe Preis dann zustande kommt.... Das ist dann doch alles etwas zwiespältig....
