Boyd Enterprises Chemi-Clean - 2 g (Расk оf Fіvе)

I've been in the reef tank hobby since 1989. I typically never used "miracle" products because I've heard hundreds of horror stories over the years and just shake my head. I had an extremely rare outbreak of cyano from my typical ignoring my reef tank when summer comes along. lol So, I read about this, got a recommendation from my buddy, and decided to try it. THIS STUFF IS INCREDIBLE! CYANO GONE! About 3-4 days after applying, all is gone! I did go in to the crevasses of some rocks with a toothbrush and loosen the last tiny bit of it to fully eradicate it. Barely had to lift a finger!I'm 61 years old with nearly 30 years of continuous reef tank keeping and this is a product I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Amazing! :)

Work perfect. Took 48 hours. I have a 55 gallon. This red bacteria took over my tank pretty fast. Miced 5 scoops of chemi-clean in a cup. Pour the mixture into the fish tank and 48 hours later it was completely gone. Did a 25% water change after. Fish are fine.. Before and after photos attached. After 48 hours

This worked fantastic. I had a large outbreak of purple slime bacteria. I tried lighting water changes adjustments on flow rate and everything I could think of to try to remedy the problem. As a last resort I resorted to chemiclean. I am not a fan of chemical's in my reef tank, my quarantine tank ok but not my reef tank. I read the directions and followed them to the letter. I woke up this morning and to my amazement every bit of the bacteria was gone, my fish, inverts, and corals were fine, and my protein skimmer is going nuts. That is what I expected with the skimmer though.This stuff is amazing.. it worked perfectly for the bacteria problem I had. Be sure to do at least a 20% water change 48 hours after treating your tank.I'll provide a follow up in a few months as i plan on using this on my maintenance regiment for the tank, as they suggest.. My tank is a 155 gallon reef with a 40 gallon refugium/sump.

I purchased this to cure what I thought was algae (and after research determining it was cyanobacteria) in my 40 gallon, heavily planted freshwater tank. I followed the instructions by removing my charcoal and chemipure as well as keeping my airstones on all day (usually turned off during the day while CO2 is injected). The instructions say to do a 20% water change after 48 hours and put the charcoal back in. Unfortunately, due to my schedule, I couldn't do a water change until 72 hours later. The first 24 hours I saw no change at all (expected none) and even after 48 hours I saw no change (I expected something). However, at the 72 hour mark, I could visibly see the cyanobacteria "stringing" and becoming less dense. Now, at the 5 day mark after administering the checmiclean, I see very little remnants of the bacteria.I think that the instructions should say (and the reason I gave it 4 and not 5 stars) to try to remove as much of the cyano as possible before treating. I have a feeling that if I had removed it as much as I could (which I did not, thinking that the Chemiclean would get rid of all of it) that I would see absolutely no signs of it rather than seeing some small remnants that I see today.On a side note, I see no visible changes or affect to my fish, invertebrates or plants which is great!

This product completely decimated my corals. Within 24 hours of medicating I lost every star polyp colony, most of them were very large. I also lost 4 anemones (all of them). I also lost several very large polyp colonies (all of them). I also lost 3 toadstool mushroom leather corals (all of them). Easily lost $1000 worth of coral. Very angry and upset!I followed the directions and added 2 very large air stones with a pretty big air pump. Removed charcoal filter but kept the skimmer going. It overflowed within an hour, so keep your eye on it as directed.Additionally, the package I first received was clearly opened. I returned it and they gave me a new one. This one also looked like it had been opened. The safety seal was not attached at all. I tried the product anyways and it basically destroyed all the corals I had.The ONLY up side it that the fish were fine and the red algae / bacteria is gone. So for a fish only tank, you are probably safe. But to say that it is safe for "reef tanks, corals, and invertebrates" is a total lie.

I had the worst case of red slime algae ever in my 210 gallon saltwater tank, everything was covered, way out of control. All the rocks, substrate and plants were covered. I tried water changes, lighting levels, less feeding, but it was too little too late. I saw product and decided to take a chance, not sure if it was going to wipe out all life in there after reading some of the reviews, I had to roll the dice on this one.All I can say is holy @#$%, this stuff worked! No harm to my marine life at all, all the red slime is gone after 4 days, wiped out completely, no evidence it was even there!! I am amazed. This stuff really worked! I just followed the instructions and really hoped for the best, in am amazed!!!Hope you have the same results I experienced, best thing on Amazon I have ever bought, and I only buy from Amazon! This is the longest positive post I have ever made, I felt it was worth the effort.Very, very happy!
