I've been into roasting on and of for over 10 years, for the last couple years I may have only bought pre-roasted coffee once. I use a Behmor 1600 drum roaster, which I can get the perfect roast with. I tend to prefer a medium or light-medium roast with most beans, I dont care for the bitterness of dark roasts. I've always tended to prefer beans from Latin American origins, and these beans are great. I've ordered from Smokin Beans multiple times always fast shipping, good prices and consistent quality.

Not the best quality bulk beans I’ve seen- but more economical. The beans are smaller than others I’ve purchased. Also the color and smell wasn’t like other coffee beans I’ve smelled. A little harder to roast and the aroma wasn’t up to what I’m used to.

This is our favorite! Period! Sweet, chocolaty, non acidic, wonderful! Medium dark, just before the second crack is the way we like it, right when the smell neutralizes in the roaster. The minute the sweet smell goes away and before you can begin picking up the dark roast smell, that's when I dump it in the cooler! Everyone who has had it loves it!

This is very good coffee. We’ve been roasting our own coffee since august 2020, so not that long, but we’ve gone through a few different flavors and brands, but we really like this brand. We are trying to go through the different coffee regions within this brand. I’ll update as we go

I ordered those beans based weight and cost. I'm new to roasting Coffee. I tried a few different methods and could not achieve the dark roast I desired. Once I found a roaster that could create a dark roast without burning, I was became very pleased with the smoothness of the Brazilian Coffee. Smokin Beans has a great variety of beans from across the world. Very happy with them

I was hoping for a coffee that would be good for "milk drinks" such as a cappuccino. Turns out this isn't the coffee for that. Nor does it have a creamy thick texture when making espresso type drinks. It does however have a good aroma and a mild taste. It's not a bad coffee at all for regular American style coffee drinks. It just doesn't do as well when trying to serve it Italian or Spanish style.

I've been roasting 20 years. Average brew. City roast seems best. A large amount of bad beans though I had to take out of each roast. Also purchased a Mexican roast from same company and that was very clean green beans.

I absolutely love these beans. I roast them in many different ways and each time I get a different flavored coffee, and all of them are delicious. I will continue to buy them in the future.
