AeroGarden Heirloom Salad Greens Seed Pod Kit (6-Pod), 5 Pack

I get about two salads a week from this (harvesting with the "haircut method"), which is great because I typically buy salad mix on Saturday with good intentions, forget about it in my fridge by Tuesday, and have a gross box of mystery green liquid to throw out two weeks later. Flavor is good and it's as easy to grow as everything else has been in my aerogrow. Love this thing!

I have ordered several of these kits without a problem. The order before this order had 3 pods did not germinate. On this order, one of the domes was missing which meant it could germinate either. So here is another kit that will not produce 6 pods of lettuce.Dates are still current so I am not sure where the problem is from. Seller or manufacturer?? Someone needs to figure out the issue and have it corrected.We really enjoy having fresh lettuce but it is becoming a problem lately.

The lettuce sprouts and after growing to be about 2 inches the leaves turn brown and it dies after 2-3 weeks. Directions were followed so I don't know why this happened. Also a few days after purchasing this the price goes down. No refund for the difference was offered. Amazon sends you to Aerogarden and Aerogarden says they have no control over Amazon pricing. SMH

My 6-Pod kit only contained five pods (Parris Island missing). I did not open the other two kits I received because they are sealed, and I don't want to open them before I am ready to plant, so I don't know if they are complete or not. I have been happy with AeroGarden in the past, but Customer Service has been completely unresponsive to emails about this problem and a non-functioning bubbler in my brand new unit which was a gift. Fortunately, YouTube users helped me to solve that issue, since I had already started the growing process before I found out the bubbler wasn't working.

This was supposed to be a mixture of salad greens. It turned out to be all one type of lettuce. Very small thin leaves. It was hard to get enough to make a salad for two. I may have made a mistake when I ordered more. I hope it’s not from the same company, but then again, I’m sure it was a mistake somewhere down the line.

Absolutely love these I have used to so far but found that they get really big and the one kind of took over. The other one still fighting for life so I haven't pulled it yet but have only been eating off of the first one/bigger one. I think the hydroponic system is amazing and is very durable. I've had it for over 5 years now and still going strong. As soon as this one breaks I will upgrade and get a larger one since I know I use it. Get yourself an AeroGarden hydroponic system and start buying some seed pods. Salad and herbs work very well some people have problems with the veggies I have not tried them yet due to high complaint volume. Kind of scared to waste my money, so I buy what the reviews tell me to.If you have vegetable products feel free to send me some so I can test them out and if they work out good I will leave a proper review so others can see and by as well

I planted these pods 14 days ago after cleaning my machine and filled it with fresh water and the nutrient solution. So far only 3 pods are growing and the other 4 are not. I have used these seed pod kits before and have had only one other time that one didn't sprout. Germination rate of 80 percent, some pods did not achieve germination.Over all happy with the results and the lettuce tastes great. As for value for the money, lol the cost of the system and pods wipes any and all value for the money off the table. The farm plus and farm xl system works and works well but initial buy in is expensive, the pods and pod components are way over priced. That being said I do like the system and the quick results and plan to buy two more farm xl systems based on the simple operation and good looks in my living room.
