12V Non-Waterproof Flexible LED Strip Light, 16.4ft/5m Cuttable LED Light Strips, 600 Units 2835 LED Lighting String, LED Tape (Ice Blue)

LEDs are big and bright, however unlike other strips I've bought lately, the strip they are mounted on is metallic/rigid and not flexible at all.Other surprise was they are bare wire...it is up to you if you want to plug into an adapter either you have to cut the plug off the adapter and do a hard wire, or purchase a plug so you are not chopping off the plug on your adapter. Thankfully I had a strip I was tossing out, so I cut the plug off that one and soldered it to this strip.Finally the sticky back when peeling off the paper was too easy to remove the sticky strip from the metal LED strip too...I had to gingerly remove the paper so the adhesive strip would stay stuck to the LED strip.

I made a sign for the back window of my vehicle using these led's. The sign read "DUMP TRUMP". I cut up the strips to make letters and stuck them on a clear sheet of acrylic. I then soldered the letters to each other and ran a cable with a cig lighter adapter and plub it into the 12v. The strips were easy to use and stuck well to the acrylic.

I ordered two pink lights and received two red lights per the package. However, I can't figure out how to plug them in to see them to decide if hey work, or if I even like the color. I will be returning them.

Need to buy DC12V 3A~5A Output Power Supply, which is unclear when your actully going to purchase this item, kinda hard to fingure our how to install but once they’re up they look pretty rad

Love these lights. The most important thing to remember is that you will need to order a DC 12v 3A-5A power supply. I ordered one of each to make sure it resolved my issue. I originally ordered the wrong power supply which caused my lights to flicker after 10 minutes. Plus the power supply would heat up. After I ordered the correct amerage, I haven't had any issues.

My headline captures the essentials. I wanted to use a dimmer and bought a 12V-rated pulse-width-modulated one as the seller advised, but the flickering was very noticeable and annoying. Contrary to popular advice I used a 2.0-Ohm 40W resistor to bring down the brightness, and it worked perfectly, all while preserving the flicker-free light that the 12Vdc power supply inherently gives me.

I'm completely disappointed by the light output of the yellow LED strip. Not nearly bright enough to be noticeable in many applications unless you're looking for some extra subtle accent lighting.

I had a need for Ice Blue leds, approximately 480nm wavelength. These are exactly that. Very consistent brightness across each diode. Adhesive is as sufficient as any. Would buy from this seller again.
