Hurricane Harvey couldn't keep me from these mint candies
My only disappointment with these Andes mints is that I had to purchase two bags. My first bag was delivered to my parcel box at the end of my street in Katy, Texas on Friday, August 25. You may recall that hurricane Harvey hit Texas on Saturday, August 26. Due to some travel issues (a hurricane and 55" of water), I was unable to retrieve my box o' candy from the parcel box until September 4th, when we snuck back into our mandatory evacuation zone wearing full-body waders, gloves, and masks. Of course, the box was skanky after a week soaking in the 3' of water in the street. Since the street was still full of water I left it there - nowhere else to put it! I feel for David, our mailman, who eventually had to drag that wet box of candy out of the parcel box once the water went down.Despite the need to save funds for the rebuilding of our house, my mom's house, AND our rent house, I decided that what I really needed was those dang mints. I made the purchase and about a week later they arrived. Perfect and yummy, they reside in my junior high classroom, where I use them to help improve my students' days as well as mine. It's a huge bag, each is individually wrapped, none were melted (think south Texas - that's amazing), and I will order again!

This product arrived today, and the plastic bag containing ...
This product arrived today, and the plastic bag containing the pieces had a hole torn into it about 3 inches in diameter. Of course many pieces had poured out of the bag and into the box. Since this is a food product I have no choice but to assume tampering, and I must dispose of the entire order.

Beware False Advertising
The picture clearly shows the individual wrapped, Andes Mint Candies that I and my family have all but become obsessed with. What arrived was a bag of ground up, unwrappped mint chocolate chips. I'm absolutely disappointed with this purchase and will never make this mistake again.

BAG OF CANDY IS STALE TASTING
This bag of candy is hard and stale tasting. There is no freshness to it. Threw it away.

If you just want the candy to eat at home this is fine. If you plan to use for anything else
The shiny green pristine wrapping is a huge part of the Andes experience. Due to the packaging (single large bag with no protection) the crisp shiny wrappers were ruined. If you just want the candy to eat at home this is fine. If you plan to use for anything else, this is probably not the right choice.

50/50 chance of getting fresh mints
I have bought these twice now, the first time they were perfect but this last time not so much. So its 50/50 on whether you get sent a good bag or not. The first bag had no issues, they were fresh and wrapped perfectly and tasted great but the second is full of some really old ones that are very brittle and crumble apart when opening.

DON'T ORDER THESE!
I bought these mints for employees to enjoy at work. The best thing about the order/s was that they arrived so quickly. Outside of that, the mints are HORRIBLE!!!!! I ended up ordering 2 bags because of how fast I knew that our office would go through the mints. When they arrived, I opened up one bag (of 2) to be sure the mints were good. First off, they tasted like they have been mixed in with some other sweet candy - they had a very funky initial taste to them. I even had my sister try a couple just to make sure it was not just "my taster." She agreed that they tasted odd. When I opened up the mint, it looked old. The wrappers looked like the mints had gotten warm, etc. Just not good AT ALL! In fact, I felt sick after I tried a couple of mints.
