We have sensory issues, so sheets that are too smooth cause us discomfort. The NYBAY Egyptian cotton pillowcases have a pleasant texture without being scratching. They stay cool to the touch, hold their color wash after wash, and have beautiful colors to choose from. We bought pink, blue, lavender, and mustard. They're true to size, and I really enjoy the pocket fold that keeps the pillow in the case.

It is hard to give an honest review after only using these one week, but here is my first impression: These sheets are acceptable for the price. I got the aqua colored ones and the color is nice and was as it appeared on the website. I found them reasonably soft and somewhat cool, but they still wrinkle a little. Given the choice, I would prefer real, classic cotton sheets because they feel softer and cooler to me, but it is almost impossible to find any for a decent price, so these will do. I might consider buying more once I see how they are after washing and make sure they don't become very wrinkly get rough spots on them. The only reason I didn't give them five stars is because these do not feel like the real 100% cotton that I have always preferred. But I will probably consider buying another set in a different color once I have a chance to see how cool they are when the summer heat hits and if they hold up their quality after a few washings.

I love these pillowcases. I love the envelope closure. I've never had a pillowcase like this before. The quality is amazing and they are so soft. I was pleasantly surprised. I will be buying more of these.

The first thing that I noticed about the fabric was how thin it is, surprising for a 500 thread count. The slick feel to the fabric was also not a plus, as I prefer a softer, cottony feel.The worst was when I took them out of the dryer (using dryer sheet) they were terribly wrinkled, unusually so for a set of sheets.

I bought the queen size because I have extra thick regular size pillows and usually pillowcases are a little short and very tight on the pillow. These are oversize and fit any thick pillow. I lilke not having the pillow show on the end. (the envelope style) I also bought this to match a new king sheet set that didnt sell pillowcases separate. The BLACKS match perfect. When I got them they looked satiny? I wanted 100 percent cotton. When I washed them, they now look like normal cotton and match my set. They did not wrinkle much. I do pull them out of the dryer right away. I would reccommend them

We've bought 4-5 cases over the years. Yes, always for under $20 and maybe you get what you pay for. But this time we finally received one that had some heft to the fabric. One prerequisite that we searched deliberately for was an all-cotton case and this was it. There is a feel and crispness to this case that the other polyester or microfiber cases lacked. Definitely worth it, especially on Prime Day (which we were patient enough to wait for :) We'll definitely be buying another one in a different color soon!

Relative to other fabrics, this one attracts lint in washer/dryer, which makes it undesirable for sleeping near.
