Talley High Grade Alloy Long Action Picatinny Base

Be careful on ordering this product. Not sure if it’s Talley or the store carrying it, but it came with what looks to be too small of screws for proper mounting and torquing of the base. They stripped out 3 holes in my browning x-bolt. I only Tightened to 15 inch/lbs (well below recommendation). There were no instructions in the package, and all 8 screws were same length (other rails provide different sizes) for front and back mounts. I fixed A couple of the holes by placing the screws from my previous dove tail mount (longer) in the base.

The mounting screws are absolutely garbage. The scope base is good to go.

Appears to be a nice rail. However, if you have a 300 PRC, 300 RUM, or 375 H&H this will not work for your X-Bolt. You will find out (like I did) that the hole placement is too short by about 1/4”. If you have one of those calibers, you need the “Magnum Action” length rail. I found it on OpticsPlanet for like $50, same one by Talley.

Only 20MOA Picatinny rail I could find for the Browning X-Bolt. Fit perfectly, bolts were all the correct length (I’ve had to cut a lot of them down over the years). No issues installing.

Still does not allow me to get the fit I need for scopes to gun, but all accessories are that way. They are good quality material, but for what this does, IMO, it's overpriced.
