This is a great and inspirational book for all ages
This is a wonderful book and recommend it to persons of all ages. It shows us that man's best friend -- dog-- will love us unconditionally and will always be at our side to give us great joy and pleasure. Dogs like the character in this book are here to help us in our lives mentally, physically and will never leave our side. I am glad I purchased this book. It has been an inspiration to me and made my day when I read it, not only about Beaudreaux, but also about the character James "Hank" Jennings and his childhood and love for God. I remember the Viet Nam war and a lot of our friends gave their lives for our country during this time. Highly recommend this book for people of all ages.Dian

Best Little Brown Dog
I have a Boykin spaniel. Fannie is her name. All of the traits described in this great little book shine every day through Fannie. Reading this account brought home a lot: Born in 1947, graduated from high school in '65, joined the Army in '69, have been married 50 years, and have my two-year old Fannie whose mother was Annie. Life is great, especially with my Little Brown Dog.Great little book for all.

Wonderful short story read for all ages.
This is very well written and suitable for all ages. The illustrations are well done and help me visualize the story. It’s always interesting to hear about others experiences while involved with the military and this was one of my favorite stories so far. I immediately googled the Boykin Duck dog after finishing the book and will definitely have one of my own. L. A. Johnson. Bham Al.
