While just about anyone could get this same kind of socket to unscrew the license plate, but for the average thief just wanting to get something fast, this seems to provide a decent deterrent. The machining quality is good and adds a nice, subtle pop of color to the black car.

One major flaw. These security bolts have a center pin. The pin is too shallow. You can literally use any hex bit to scew and unscrew these bolts.

I purchased the Silver/Blue combo. Looks great. Easy to install.
