I bought this for a water aerobics. When I'm in the water for about a half hour, I start to get cold and the long-sleeve shirt keeps me warm. The shorts are ok except for the fact that they don't come up high enough. If they only had 3 inches of elastic at the top to hold in the belly fat, they would be great! I like that the shirt has 50 SPF so you can wear it in the ocean/at the beach as well. I'm 5'3" and 140 lbs and purchased a medium. It fits snug, but it's supposed to if you're wearing it in water. I'm also glad that it's mostly polyester, since that's the only fabric that holds up in chlorine water.Update: after wearing it for a few times, the shorts are very uncomfortable. They are not lined and they have no cotton crotch, so the seams are very uncomfortable. I have to wear black underwear underneath. Also the built-in bra in the shirt is very low which makes your bustline look like it's close to your waist. There is no way to adjust it. 5'7", 135 lbs, 36A, long torso and long arms. The shirt fit perfectly. The shorts are a bit tighter than I would like, but I can totally wear them. Quality is OK. The stitching around the neck is not great and so it puckers up in one area, but not a big deal. I haven't actually worn them to the beach/pool yet. So, my comments re just about fit and appearance, not functionality. I like not having to wear a rash guard over a suit. The sewn-in cups are a bit big on me (I'm very small-chested), but not as big as most bathing suit cups are on me. I like that they're not removable b/c those always move around. Patterns are a bit much, but I just embraced the kitsch and went with something that has that "airbrushed t-shirt at the beach in the 80's" vibe. UPDATE - the rash guard was perfect. So comfy and the pattern looked cute in the beach. I didn’t wear the shorts so can’t comment on those. Very pleased! May buy another pattern bc sewn in cups are hard to find.

(KG's wife): I got this for swimming/snorkling in Hawaii. Thought the Medium size worked out great - I usually wear a size 8 but sometimes a 6 depending on the style and brand. Good coverage for my butt cheeks; flattering and no riding up. Love the pattern/colors (Leaf Print). I had read the reviews prior to my purchase and agree that if you have larger breasts, the cups on the rash guard top may not work. They are on the small side, and non-removable unless you have cutting and sewing skills. I have a B cup and it was fine - no odd shapes; good support. I bought a separate swim top (different brand) w/light lining and no cups to wear underneath the rash guard top so I could take off the top to dry and not bare all! Sleeve length was OK but ended a little before my wrist bones. I made sure to put sunscreen on the back of my hands up into the lower areas of my arms just to be safe because I'm as pale as they come. Saved me time and effort not having to apply sunscreen to my back and shoulders, kept me protected from the sun while protecting the coral from additional sunscreen in the water (even "reef-safe" lotion isn't completely safe!). Happy with my purchase!

The fit of the shirt is great and as expected. The shorts are teeny tiny and I tried them in two different sizes. The problem with the short is that they don’t have any compression so as soon as you bend, they become inappropriately short and I wouldn’t want to be caught on a SUP giving people a show! I even gave them to a friend who is a size smaller than me and she could not wear them for the same reason
