Primary use will be travel shower seat
I actually saw this product on QVC, but decided to see if Amazon had any and of course they do. Tons of them.I am an above knee amputee who likes to travel. I cannot rely on shower seats at hotels because I have no idea how well they’ve been maintained or if people have exceeded the recommended weight limit causing it to be potentially dangerous. It’s just not worth the risk of injury. Sometimes the handicap room doesn’t even have a shower seat. I used to bring an 18 inch high folding stool, but that takes up so much room in my bag. This product is fantastic for my intended purpose with the 10” diameter and light weight. I also will be able to use a smaller suitcase versus the 27 inch suitcase that I need for that 18 inch stool to be packed in. I shifted around all over the place doing a test run as a shower seat and not once did I feel like it was going to collapse. It will take time to thoroughly dry because of the design, but for the convenience it’s worth it to me. If I need to pack it before it is thoroughly dry I can always wrap a towel around it in its collapsed state and put it in a solid plastic bag. Once home just expand it. I will cut a 12 x 12“ piece of non-skid shelf paper to put underneath it to prevent it from shifting once it gets wet in the shower. When I’m not using it for that purpose it will be great as a side table or footstool when I’m camping. I myself would not sit on it while wearing my prosthetic limb because that was very awkward for me when I tried that, but for guests without physical disabilities or excessive weight it would be handy and easy to store.I read many reviews that talked about the difficulty opening and closing this type of product. It takes a little bit of practice, but once you get it then it’s easy as can be.

Dropped me like a rock... UPDATED: Still crap
Dropped me on the ground 30 seconds after sitting. Waiting for replacement to show up and try again. Will update.UPDATE 09/05/2020: confirmed, complete crap. The description of 440lbs is a complete lie; it cannot handle 300lbs. STAY AWAY!

Weight limit on pkg says 150KG, which equals 330 lbs (NOT 440)
Weight limit on pkg says 150KG, which equals 330 lbs like all the others out there, not 440 as the bullets claim.Other than that, it's fairly light weight, easy to operate, and even though I weigh 390 I tried to sit on it for a minute, and for that brief time it held my weight OK. I don't know if it would long term or not, but it should certainly hold my daughter when she gets tired of walking on an outing, etc. and will work as a foot stool when we use our camp chairs, etc. so for what I paid I think I'll keep it, and may even use it from time to time in conjunction with a cane to support some of my weight, but we'll see how well it holds up.But the info in the bullets claiming a 440 lb weight limit is wrong, it's 150KG on the package, which = 330 lbs if every other posting for a stool like this and Google's conversion utility are to be believed.

A lightweight and portable way to take a little break
I bought this for my wife who suffers from nerve issues in her legs and feet. She can walk but often needs to take a break and sit down. This product gives her more mobility than she had before.I've found that the stool is easy to set up and retract. My wife has very little problem with it. I gave it 4 stars mostly due to the fact that if you don't have your fingers perfectly grasped in the holes, then it's possible to pop out the center plate/spring cover. It was simple to replace and I corrected how I was holding it, but it surprised me at first. It's sturdy enough for her, but she is well under half the rated weight. I haven't tried it out, but my wife finds it hugely helpful and gives her a little more freedom than she used to have.

Fine overall
It is my second stool I bought. I liked the first so much, so decided get another for my closet. However, the first grew in price and I wanted stay with the same budget. Alevmoom stool is more difficult to adjust to desired height. It is easy for full extension or to put it flat, but quite tricky to lock in the middle.

Great for long hikes
I do a lot of hikes in the spring through autumn and have always wished i had a seat on long treks. This is prefect. It fits easily in my backpack or from my hip. I took this fishing on an isolated lake and it was a great way to get off my feet. This holds easily just over 200lbs which was great for my Boyfriend, I will definatly get another one.

I returned
This is a good idea and very functional product. I saw a similar item on Shark Tank so I ordered. For me it was a little lightweight and the seat too small for my 215 pound frame. So I returned it. For a woman or smaller man it would be fine.
