I installed these on my 2018 Freightliner Cascadia. Had to remove the door panels to run the harness thru. Driver side was a breeze. Passenger side was hell but I got it done. The reactions from other drivers and the amount of lighting it puts out made it all worth the effort! This is definitely a safety feature that all vehicles should come standard with.

The media could not be loaded.  I have side lights installed in the doors, but certainly these LED strips are brighter and more fun. I love different lights and I love installing them in their car. Moreover, I am an Uber driver and this is very important for the safety of my passengers and me. I liked these tapes, they are good length and more than enough to fit the front doors of my Honda Odyssey. First, I connected them to the stock backlight. It was absolutely not difficult. The ends of the wires are prepared and have small metal connectors. I just inserted them into the connector next to the standard lamp and that's it. After I was convinced that everything was working well, I thoroughly wiped the installation site with an alcohol napkin that was included in the kit and carefully glued the tape after trying it on and imagining where the tape would be installed. Installation on each door took me no more than 15 minutes. The adhesive base is very strong and after 4 months the tape has not come off in any place. As I said, the tape is very bright: the white part illuminates the road under the door and gives light in principle, while the red part blinks in several preset scenarios and attracts very much attention. What I didn't like: - the LED strip has a white base and that would be good for a white car. It doesn't matter at night because the lights are very bright and this detail is not visible. But in daylight, the white tape on my gray car doesn't look very good. I could not even imagine this until I drew attention to it. It's not scary. But it looks like not a professional tuning;) in this regard, I put only 4 stars. Therefore, as soon as the tape appears on a dark base and with a dark finish, I will immediately replace the installed ones with new ones.

I recently got a new car and I thought I would upgrade the doors with some lights. These seemed relatively easy to install and the appearance was something I was looking for.It was pretty surprising to see how thin the lights were while also maintaining a really bright look to them. The lights are primarily white with a red portion to them.The installation was not super difficult but it did take me some time to get them installed. The instructions for the installation were pretty straight forward. They were clear enough for me to add these lights to the car myself without the help of a mechanic.*Important tip: make sure you clean the surface of the car with soap and water to make sure the adhesive has a good surface to attach to. I have had these for a couple of months and the adhesive seems to stay just fine. There is no quality change in the lighting either.Overall these lights are great for the price and inexpensive. For the price range, I think you get a great deal with these lights and they are definitely worth considering. Overall they get 5 out of 5 stars. I hope this review helps you make an educated purchasing decision.

This is two different LED sections housed in a flexible, clear, rectangular rube. Half is bright white, the other half is red. The red portion flashes for a few seconds when powered on, then switches to a back and forth motion until power cycled again. It's designed to hook up to an in-door light, so that when the door opens, the LED's power on. This lights up the ground and makes your door really stand out. The tube is approximately 1/4" thick and 1/2" wide - so there has to be that much gap between the door and car body.Install: You need to clean the mounting area really, really well. It also has to be rust free. I used soapy water and a brush to scrub the area, then clean water to get rid of the soap, then the included alcohol wipes. If possible, I'd hook up the power first so you can position the strip with the lights on - plus this heats them up and makes them more flexible. Plus you test the strips before installing. A plastic tool is included to pop the door panel and light. The wire ends have pins pre-installed that will plug into many connectors. I had to cut and splice mine - no biggie. If you're handy, this will be an easy install. You'll spend as much time cleaning as installing.

Fantastic lights! You don't need to be an auto electrician to fit these, just a bit of care because it's fiddly. Make certain your door is clean and fit them when it's warm or the 3M tape won't stick. Ordered 11pm and in my hand by 9.30am next morning! Brilliant.

Asked the seller about the red light being static. Doesn’t blink like as advertised. Sell mentioned they will get back to after contacting the manufacturer. That was 2 months ago. No communication from the seller since then. Terrible product with terrible customer service. Do not buy.
