I appreciate small gestures and gratitude. They go a long way in my book.This is my first time ordering this product, as well as my first shopping experience with Barbra. My order came quickly and as described. The dry clay is fine powder with just enough texture within to give a nice soft scrub. I applied the bentonite clay to my face. After I allowed time to dry, I washed my face and my skin felt amazing. It felt as though the clay moisturized my face, because after I had removed the mask and my face dried, my skin was smooth and firm. Normally, due to sensitive skin; masks dry out my face even to the point of peeling. With this bentonite clay mask, I have already done three and I have no dryness. I would definitely recommend staying hydrated during and after any application. ASUTRA Indian Healing Clay is amazing! I'm glad that I made the purchase. This product is worth every penny! This is my first purchase of bentonite clay and am really impressed with the ladies that run asutra. they responded quickly to my questions and were very helpful and courteous. The clay is a very fine consistency and seems very pure with a lot of drawing/pulling power. I am using it as part of a detox regimen as i am trying to eliminate using toxic chemicals or products that have thousands of ingredients. I use it instead of toothpaste and my mouth feels much cleaner than with the flouride laced minty stuff. It works well for hair too and surprisingly didn't dry it out at all, quite the opposite actually. It has tons of different uses and is great for first aid, insect bites, and even certain types of skin infections. overall, a really great buy for the money!It is a very alkaline substance. so if you are getting a rash/irritation you may want to add something acidic to it to bring down the pH like apple cider vinegar. apple cider vinegar also can help restore a balanced pH to your body and skin so its what I would recommend if using as a mask.thank you asutra!

I usually buy calcium bentonite but I bought this (sodium bentonite) to see if I’d prefer this. Honestly at first I wasn’t a big fan because it seemed too drying and strong for face but I decided to dilute it with water and apple cider vinegar (also added a little grounded oats and honey like I usually do) and it wasn’t irritated at all the 2nd time. The texture is more thinner, less stiff, and it’s more easier to wash off than the calcium bentonite. I would say it is more detoxifying and drying than the calcium bentonite (please dilute with water) so I feel like it’ll be better for someone with oily skin. As someone with acne/eczema prone skin I do prefer the calcium bentonite slightly more but I will continue to finish this and use every 2 weeks because it has helped decrease my acne. Again if you’re using apple cider with this, PLEASE dilute with water.

I have already used your product to make homemade remineralizing toothpaste. Obviously, it doesn't look pretty, but it is effective. The recipe called for clove and cinnamon leaf essential oils, but I found I did not like the lack of freshness in my mouth. I prefer mint. It seemed maybe too much to just add peppermint, but I did add several drops as there wasn't much to lose at that point. Additionally, I added a small amount of my homemade baking soda and charcoal tooth-whitening powder to the mix instead of the pinch of salt the recipe mentioned. I might mention that I used local honey as a sweetener, which made the final toothpaste smooth out to look almost like a commercial product. By the way, I don't care for sweet toothpaste, but it is much better with the honey.My teeth do look whiter, after a week feel stronger, and my mouth feels surprisingly fresh after brushing my teeth with clay! All-in-all, I was pretty pleased with my creation. I definitely like this product and this company.Oh, and it came in a heavy glass jar, and there is a wooden scoop included. I wish I had found it before using the clay, but it was buried in there. Having it placed on the outside of the jar would be better.As an aside, I used a 3-ounce silicon tube by Go Gear to package my toothpaste for use,and did add about 1/16 of a teaspoon of Germaben II as a natural preservative. Both were also purchased through Amazon.I thought this was a positive review.

I'm glad that I made this purchase. I have noticed a change in my skin since using it (a few times a week). My pores look way better and my skin feels great. My only complaint (the reason it didn't get 5 stars) is that when I received the package and opened it, the lid on the container had broken and there was powder everywhere. Once I cleaned all that up, I had to figure out a way to seal the top so it wasn't being exposed to air constantly (which is a constant thing). I would suggest wrapping the jar in some kind of bubble wrap to protect it. It was pretty battered by the time it arrived to my house.
