got for halloween - nice price vfm uv affect -did the job - the cable is very short though (about 350mm ish) and it was a bit of a faff trying to find some way of extending this to get to the nearest socket

Great uv lights BUT solder points don’t stick!
Ok first off, these lights are great. My project involved cutting the strip into several smaller strips to uv backlight a wooden board to add luminous letters. A luminous ouija board to be precise.So I’ve done this project before, you simply cut the strip on the cut line and solder some small wires to the next strip… normally this works great and easy to do. For some reason the solder points won’t stick to solder! I realised I purchased the water proof version. I carefully cut off the waterproof covering, but it won’t stick. Binned the lights as now useless sadly. Have re ordered the non waterproof version in the hope the solder points will stick. Just be aware if your project requires cutting like mine.

Works a treat
Bought these for my blacklight Funko pops, sticky back to stick onto the surface, and easy to switch on & off. Only thing to know is that you do need a usb plug as it only comes with a usb cable to power

Product works well. Very illuminous.

Simple UV light, satisfactory
Using it for a resin waste box (to cure failed prints and items touched by 3d printer resin). The adhesive on the back is not reliable and based on the age of the strip, you might get units that will peel the whole adhesion tape off when you try to apply it.

Not sure about safety
They look well, but USB plug and cable get very worryingly hot, at whatever current you run them. One other minor point - the adhesive seems more firmly bonded to the peel-off backing tape than to the led strip. So don't start at the ends. Find a spot a few inches away from the end where you can start separating the backing tape.

Great product, easy to work with.
Great product. Used these to make a curing chamber for UV resin 3d prints. It does produce some heat as the chamber is only small however this wont be an issue for conventional uses or when curing for less than 5-10 minutes.

Easy to use only slight down side is sticky tape isn’t very good
