Great backup light and dim enough to use at close range.
For years I've been buying cheaper lights that I would see in the automotive store that go bad after a few uses. I decided to finally buy something that has a potential to last longer. Also, I might have suffered a little bit of PTSD from not having lights working a tornado scene, in which I thanked God that we had called for power to be cut to the area. After dealing with some people trying to loot, I inadvertently stepped on a downed power line which made my heart jump all the way up into my head but thankfully the power was out. Thus causing my need for multiple lights to be with me at all times while working and off duty. My flashlight at the time was being used with emergency Services who were pulling people out of houses, and was one of five working lights after emergency Services had several lights fail. I volunteered my light, at the time it was my only light. But I also need something that I could see injuries on people without bleaching out abrasions or blinding victims. This light seems to offer a pretty good wide range of uses in case my primary carry light fails. So far it has worked great.I did not know at first if I would appreciate the light turning on to medium initially, but it makes sense as it is not the brightest setting, can help you see an area quickly, and you can easily lower it down a power level or up a power level with a couple quick half clicks. I have grown to appreciate the thought process in the light activation. There is no need for a stroke function as this is not a tactical light, just a good close range or backup light to carry.I also have an ace beam l16, and Ace beam l19 version 1, and now this Ace beam. I find that every time I'm looking for a flashlight they've got the best product hands down for the price. Warranties are pretty good as well. Thankfully I have not needed to use the warranties despite some abuse the lights have suffered. Great quality and battery life on my previous two lights.

Solid and bright small pen flashlight, battery lasts a long time
Acebeam PT10GT is one of flashlight I carry with me on daily basis. As a dentist, I use it to take a quick look inside patient's mouth when he or she is not in the treatment chair. I also use it to help shade match for new crowns with PT10GT's neutral light.Operation of PT10GT is simple. Rear button switch on and of the light and also changes between 3 light intensities with half push on the button. I use mostly low and medium light. High setting at 400 lumen is overpowering for looking into patient's mouth, but enough to look for things in the dark. One thing it does not do as instruction manual indicated is after turning the light off for 2 seconds the light does not turn on at medium consistently. I wish the light has last setting mode so I can always start at low level. The included li-ion battery lasts a long time. So far in 2 months I only charge it twice. With other pen lights that uses regular AAA batteries I would have to replace them sooner.Overall PT10GT performs well at work for me.

Very bright, stay bright for a long time.
I love this light. It has 3 brightness setting. The one thing I truly love about this light is whatever brightness level I left it on, it remain at that brightness level until the battery ran out. It does not step down the brightness level like so many other flashlight. Most other flashlights advertised with very high lumens, but step down after a couple of minutes. This one doesn't. The battery life is decent. I bought a spare battery for swapping out.

Great product, but it will cost you
Very bright, especially for a penlight. However, it is also very expensive, for a penlight.

One of the coolest small flashlights
This is an excellent flashlight, very bright and small enough too keep in any pocket. Well built and has two different brightness levels. The battery life is excellent but you have to remove the battery from the flashlight to charge it. I even bought a second one for my wife to have.

Carry in your pocket
This is my second one. Very pleased. Easy charging. Another light I have is a pain to charge, so that’s why I have two.

Not good
It's not convenient to charge. Take the battery out and then charging it.
