Q: Would a smart dog be able to figure out how to open the door latch?

We have the crate that opens upward like a garage door. If it is in the proper place, a dog would not be able to open it. We have a smart dog and he loves this crate, but I line it with a double (two) dog beds and provide wonderful treats and toys. Even when the door is wide open, he likes to walk into the crate to take a nap. You must be smarter than your dog. Make him love the crate. LOL - sorry not intended as rude in any way.

The crate is very roomy for a small dog it is 25x19.

Q: Both doors lock when closed, right?

There is a slide over latch to close and lock both doors
