Worked well
Purchased this as a pleco in my quarantine tank developed ich. I was a bit worried on how this treatment would affect him, as well as several cory's that were also quarantining in the same tank as most ich treatments are harmful to scaleless fish.I ended up treating 3 rounds (3x 3 days of treatment + one day break in-between) consecutively and noticed the ich was gone on day 5. I continued treatment as there didn't seem to be any ill affect on the pleco, cory's, or honey gouramis and I wanted to make sure to kill the ich during the vulnerable stage of its lifecycle. During this time I had also raised the temperature to 30 degrees Celsius and added extra aeration to the tank. Each day of treatment I also preformed a 25% water change before adding more treatment, making sure to syphon the gravel well.As of now, its been more than 2 weeks since the pleco showed any signs of ick, and none of my other fish ever developed symptoms'. Not sure if it was the combination of water changes + temperature + this treatment or if it was one or the other but it seemed to work!Only downside is its very hard to add "one drop per gallon" as the dropper does not work very well, and often collects multiple drops before dropping--or squeeze's out too fast/much.My fish were quarantining in a 10 gallon tank, so each day I aimed to add 5 drops (half dose for plecos and cory's), but I upped it to six for the last round of treatment. However, with the dropper being how it was, I'm sure there was more drops than I had intended. This also did not seem to have any affect on an anubias and some subwassertang that I had in the tank. However, I would be hesitant to use it in my main tank which is heavily planted, but hopefully I never need to!
