This rug is great if your plan is to use it once, maybe twice. I loved it when we first got it, super soft, fit perfectly and looked great. The first time I tried to clean it the bottom part of the rug began to deteriorate and fall apart. I’ve cleaned it three times since I’ve had it, on gentle and hung to dry, and it’s no longer useable. I wish it lasted longer because I really do love it.Edit to add - the seller reached out to me and sent a free replacement. Hopefully it stands up, 5 stars for the excellent service!

Loved this rug at first. Super bright white, so very plush, soft and thick. However, this rug does not stand up to daily use. I usually wash these rugs once a week because they are white and in my master bath so get used on a daily basis. The back starts to deteriorate and ends are unraveling due to being washed in the washing machine after a few months of use. I am very disappointed that these didn't hold up because I really did love them.****UPDATE**** I am changing my review to 5* due to the fact that the company contacted me and replaced all my mats with new ones.

Update: I have washed these rugs at least 10 times (my son is being potty trained and he misses a lot) and they are still as awesome as the day I bought them. The backs are in still in near perfect condition. We absolutely love these rugs. My son still snuggles on them after his bath and he will even go in the bathroom to sit on the rug to look at books.I bought 2 of these rugs for my bathroom and they are the softest rugs ever! My kids wouldn't stay off of them because they were so soft and "snuggly". I've only had them for a sort time, but last night my dog peed on one of them so I had to wash it. First off it actually absorbed the pee really well and I wouldn't have even noticed it was wet if I hadn't stepped in it. Washed it according to directions (cold water, low heat to dry) and it washed up perfectly. If anything it is softer. The rug pictured is the one I washed.

After much thought and consideration, I decided to buy this rug against negative reviews. I can confirm slight shedding but nowhere near enough to be a bother, and...with all that shag, it seems only logical for some shedding to occur.As you can see in the photos, it was stained in a couple of spots, but only on the bottom surface, so I can live with it.I washed it, dried it on low heat and no heat cycles and it is slightly damp but will finish air drying on the bathroom floor. The stains did not come out on the bottom, which is kind of irrelevant since I won’t be looking at the bottom.Overall, I highly recommend this rug. It truly is a beautiful, bright white, fluffy cloud. It’s a nice, luxurious treat for my feet and sight for my eyes in our bathroom. :)

The media could not be loaded.  It’s even better than I thought it would be. It is the fluffiest material I have ever touched!! Awesome absorbency, great grip underneath the mat so it doesn’t slip around on the tile. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve stepped out of the shower and slipped on other cheap mats!!!

Beautiful soft bath mat. One trip to the washer and the backing disintegrated. Poor quality.

lOVE LOVE LOVE this - now the only reason they got 1 less star is because I have white and well, even with precaution (no shoes allowed in my master bathroom) and bleaching the F out of it - it still can stain and have this hue of dirt. But in general it is soft, and fluffy and absorbent and I love it. I have sat on my bathroom floor just to enjoy it! A MUST HAVE.Update -- on 1/25/20 I have had 3 full wash cycles and it maintains it’s fluffiness BUT it has created odd creases where it folds over in the wash cycle - the shag aspect looks dull and worn even though it feels great still. Keeping the WHITE white is almost impossible.Update 1/25/19 -- three washes later and the mat is no longer a beauty - it is hard to remove any stains from it (I did get white and I know that is not easy) but the look of the mat has changed and even warped a bit. Still fluffy and soft - but looks worn and I haven’t had it but a few months. Considering one more powerful wash with bleach to see what happens - if not then I am buying a new one that is NOT the shaggy type.

The media could not be loaded.  I really like this bath mat. The pile is about an inch and a half deep, which I think is perfect. It's dense enough to keep it from going flat after having been stood on. No footprints at all. It's so luxuriously soft! And the neutral ombre means that it will coordinate with whichever guest towels I decide to put out. It's made of microfiber, which makes it very absorbent. After standing on it while toweling myself off, there are no telltale dark spots showing where it is damp. The underside is rubberized, so the mat doesn't slide around on the floor. I was pleasantly surprised at how lightweight it is, too. I'm very happy with this mat.

Sorry - this is a gift so I can't rate the product itself. The delivery was quite quick.
