Well designed
I bought this one to replace one where the belt holders all eventually broke. This one is made of wood and metal. Very well designed to hold many belts sturdily. I can tell this one is a keeper.

Happy after 1 month, disappointed after 9 months.
I was a big fan of this product when I first received it. I love cedar, and needed a better way to organize belts. Unfortunately, after about 9 months of very light use (I generally wear only one belt that never goes on the rack, so I only pulled a dress belt off a couple of times), the hook pulled out of the cedar spool. Attempts to screw it back in, and even add woodworking adhesive failed to permanently solve the problem. I can't stress enough how lightly this was used until it failed. If you're considering purchasing, I'd recommend looking for something else.

What He needed
I purchased this for my husband, He was forever rolling his belts, put them in a drawer or on top of dressers. Now he can hang them in a closet next to his ties.. As far as the way it is made.. small so doesn't take up a lot of space. Seems sturdy. Don't know how long it will hold. It is so far worth what I paid.

Not heavy duty!
The hooks will eventually come off because of the small screws. I reinforced mine with zip ties. Doesn't look the best but I know It should stay together a lot longer.

Fell apart after less than a week
It looks like the production value on these is hit or miss. My friend's lasted well, but mine fell apart in less than a week of supporting only 6 belts.

Works as advertised. Keeps my belts in order and tidy. Have just a few. Would not work if you had many.
