We have a mountain cabin with an internal UV water treatment system. Connected to it is a water filter. Because the water source is untreated creek water that includes some sediment, it is important for the water filter to filter out as much of the sediment as possible. This filter does a very effective job of doing so. So far we are very pleased.

We used them to filter the water pumped from the lake to our RV. The water is being filtered with the Aquaboom premium 5 micron filters and the water is excellent; clear and no odor...will buy again.

I've worked in a plumbing field for over 30 years put in many assists for well water these filters are great they filter the water well that remove some smell settlement easy to install very well priced I have well water at my house not too much iron some smell not a very good taste after installing these filters water tastes very well also smell a lot better last about every 6 months I have to change well worth it
