This is a good kit overall with good fit. Only small amount of putty used. The instructions show 2 versions. One is for a straight wing version and the other one is for an arrow one.(but the kit does not have arrow wings!)So I picked the straight wing version of 1943 that you can see in the pictures I have posted.Camouflage is also wrong in the instructions due to that version had green and black cammo and not brown as also shows the box. It brings to sets of antennas so you can choose the correct one for you version, but If you want to be 100% accurate you can only build the version I picked.All in all is a good kit with descent instructions, good fit and if you consider mi comments you can be accurate from a historical perspective.Excellent to build a IL-2 straight wing but remember that if you want to build an IL-2 arrow you have to avoid this kit.

The kit is fairly basic and doesn't take too much time. It includes decals for two different pilots and aircraft--both of which are famous planes and aircrew.There is little to no detail in the cockpit, but, with the size of the individual panes in the canopy, there wouldn't be a great way to see and detail anyhow. Most of the pieces fit together fairly well, but the two fuselage halves definitely require some putty and sanding. There are no guiding pegs or any other assistance other than their shape. The panel lines are recessed, but are not overly deep. The kit includes a full loadout of armament which is nice to see.If you're looking for a crazy amount of minute detail, this kit is not for you. If you want a decent Il-2 that will look really nice without breaking the bank, this kit will do fine.

Von diesem preisgünstigen Bausatz von ZVESDA, kann ich fast nur positives berichten.Anzahl der Bauteile übersichtlich, aber durchaus gut detailliert. Die Passgenauigkeit der Einzelteile ist ebenfalls gut.Besonders hat mir das Fahrwerk gefallen, weil es nur aus 3 stabilen Teilen besteht, was mir sinnvoller erscheint als eine Vielzahl von Miniteilen, die eher der Stabilität schaden, als der Optik nutzen.Als einziger Kritikpunkt ist anzumerken, das die Bauanleitung bzgl. der zu verwendenden Farben keinerlei verständliche Hinweise gibt. Allerdings findet man im Internet reichlich Farbvorlagen für die IL 2.
