Just as I expected
I like the packaging. The taste is just what I expected. I think it is a bit pricier than what I can get at a farmers market, but I understand I am paying for the convenience of having it delivered. As far as freshness, I don't know. It is hard to tell because it is dehydrated. And in most climates, the pollen can only be collected in late summer and early autumn. The pollen does not cake which I like.

Amazing taste
I love everything about this bee pollen. Taste, freshness, price. I will definitely order again.

I purchased because it claimed to be organic
Being chemically sensitive I paid more than twice as much for this than I did for a previous 1 lb bag from another seller because I experienced some very disconcerting effects which are familiar to me when I am exposed to chemicals. A Google search revealed that herbicides are often found in bee pollen. I've been consuming this for several days now and haven't experienced those negative effects.

It's more like pellets than a ground powder
Maybe I'm not that familiar with bee pollen, but this is not what I would call ground--it's crunchy pellets. Being resinous, if you want to grind it finer you may have a hard time. I've found with other resinous materials like frankincense and myrrh it's best to freeze them first and then use a coffee grinder to grind small amounts. As is, I don't think you get much value from these unless you chew them, and they do get stuck a bit in your teeth. They do seem to be what they say they are. I pretty much don't trust food labels. I mean, how do you know? And the label doesn't list any information except the distributor in Wisconsin and their assertions about being raw, non-GMO, etc.It seems like a good product, but I would like to see more about it's origins on the label.

Very disappointed.
I've been eating bee pollen for years and know what good, raw, fresh, untreated bee pollen looks, smells, feels, and tastes like. This batch was the worst I've ever had. It was odorless, flavorless, and cream-colored throughout with nothing resembling the dark colors displayed on the outside packaging which is what attracted me to buying it along with very few negative comments. Either all the other buyers got a rawer, fresher, less overly heat-treated sterile pound of pollen for their $29 or it was just me. The company should be investigated for false advertising as the picture in no way resembles the product. Very dissatisfied.
