I soaked it, cooked in water to make some kind of compote- it didn’t swell up at all and tasted too white-sugary.

Brilliant health giving bargain!
I use these in conjunction with dried cranberries and dried cherries every day and havnt had a cold for 10 years after getting 9 one winter.They were perfect and very reasonable.Well worth the money!
