Great for scorching summer nights in Texas
So, this is the time of year where Texas moves between the sun and Mercury, so it’s pretty common to wake up feeling sticky and humid—it’s always humid here. Or you wake up with a sore throat from blasting cold air over night. Regardless, I still need a blanket year round so that ghosts don’t touch my butt while I’m sleeping; blankets are a magic force field as we all learn in childhood.Anyway. This is an excellent blanket. Cute color, lightweight, soft to the touch, and keeps me cool all night. I sleep MUCH better under this blanket than my old one. And I love that it holds up well in the washer and dryer even when I forget to use the included laundry bag. There is one thing though, and it’s not worth subtracting a star over. We have a queen bed and bought the queen blanket originally (still holding up well, and the light blue was also super cute). The blanket doesn’t come to the edges of the mattress, so there wasn’t much for me after my husband wraps himself like a burrito in his sleep. We ordered the king blanket when we decided to get a second, and this thing is massive on the mattress and hangs over the sides quite a bit more than we were expecting. It’s still an awesome blanket, y’all; I would just suggest measuring your mattress so you won’t be surprised by the overhang or lack thereof.

perfect spring/summer blanket. Got for my boys who run hot at night and this has helped them sleep better and cooler.

So far so good. Also, not quite Queen sized.
This blanket is soft and thin, but seems to be warm enough while still allowing the breathability that it promises. Other reviews that mentioned 90x90 is not quite as big as typical queen size are accurate. It barely covers the top of our queen mattress, but this blanket is still working well for me so far. I purchased this and a different style and brand at the same time specifically because I have started waking up with night sweats as the latest symptom of perimenopause. I don't have full-on hot flashes during the day yet, but I have definitely had multiple nights much more often where I am waking up a sweaty mess. I decided I needed to see if it was possible to find blankets that could help with this. I am the kind of person who is usually the one in the room who is cold, and although I prefer colder sleeping temperatures I am usually one to typically pile on the blankets. This has had to change. I can say I used this blanket as my only cover on top of the sheet for a week straight, and I did not wake up sweaty even once, nor did I get cold. I can't tell if that was a fluke of me not having a random hot flash in the middle of the night after only a week, but it sure seems like it was happening at least once a week prior. I will report back if things change, but so far I am impressed with the blanket's breathability yet also being able to keep me warm enough. Where I live is not extremely cold, but without the heater on I have woken up to a bedroom that is in the mid to high 50s and still been comfortable with only a sheet and this blanket. Sometimes I put a fleece blanket on top of feet only, but only this blanket up from there. That would not normally have been the case for me prior to perimenopause. I am hoping this means if overnight hot flashes are what's keeping me warm, that this blanket is doing its job allowing just enough breathability for me to be comfortable and not sweaty. I'll be leaving a similar review for my other blanket purchase too, because I seem to have lucked into two winners.

Not for pets
It is cool and light as advertised but the dogs nails get caught and pulled strings the very first night. No rough house, just sleeping. Works well but look elsewhere if you have pets.

no regrets
i just got it today after desperately needing smth to keep my cool at night. i just moved in w someone who keeps the house much warmer than i would. ive been having to sleep w the ceiling fan and and extra fan right next to the bed And 1 or 2 ice packs wrapped in a sheet to keep me cool enough to fall and stay asleep. i don't mind the ice packs, theyre quite nice and u can move them around to where u feel the most warm but i needed a blanket that wouldn't be too hot when i did want smth to cover up w. per the instructions u are supposed to wash and dry (a specific way) before use, which i haven't done yet. but ive been sitting w it for a while and it is definitely cooling. not as much as i thought, but maybe thats bcus i haven't washed it yet. i really wanted to use it tonight but it needs to air dry, and im impatient. i can already tell, even if its not as cooling, itll be nice to sleep w. just from sitting w it, u can tell its v breathable and u can feel air come through it. also, itsays after u wash it it will get softer so, pre wash, its not rough or uncomfortable, but if a wash will make it softer then ill do it. i just noticed that it is cool to the touch slighty, which i think is a good sign of its quality. ill write updates once ive washed, dried, and used it for a few nights. but as for now, i don't regret buying it.Update: i hand washed it in the tub and all was good. i let it air dry for abt 5 hours before i got impatient and start doing research to see if i could put it in the dryer although the instructions say not to. between the other reviews here and stuff i saw online i gave in and put it in the dryer on air fluff, with no heat. first for 20 mins which didn't do a ton. then i put it in for 40 mins no heat. i used low heat on a gentle cycle for abt 20 mins checking it often so it didn't get too warm. after one last 20 min cycle w no heat it was v slightly damp so i let it finish air drying while i slept. so total i air dried for abt 10-11 hours, in the dryer on no heat for 60-80mins, and low heat dried for 20. i assume it would take probably a full 24 hours to air dry if thats all u did but from my experience its fine in the dryer as long as its on no heat, or if any, low heat and not for long periods of time. im gonna sleep w it tonight and see if its good enough to replace the ice packs ive been using haha

Comfortable, as advertised
The blanket is soft, light, and comfortable. I actually bought it to use as material for another project; outerwear for warmer weather, and it did not disappoint. Would recommend.
