When I needed to re-purchase I begrudged it a bit as it went up to £4.50! I left it a week or two then pounced on it again when the price dropped to £3.66 again, and I got an extra 5% discount as I bought 4.I have thick, dry, box-coloured 3b/3c curly porous hair which literally died and went straight during the lockdowns. I think a lot of that was due to stress of working in a GP surgery as a receptionist throughout the pandemic, plus we had a beautiful hot sunny summer, which all took its toll on my normally beautiful curls.This leave-in conditioner is amazing. I’ve always used leave-ins as very curly hair loves it, but this one is the best I’ve ever used. It smells amazing and does have a strong lovely scent which i personally like. Once i’ve shampoo’d and conditioned my hair I wrap in a micro fibre towel (curlies shouldn’t use normal towels as it frizzes hair). I then remove the towel and put this leave-in conditioner through my hair with praying hands 🙌. I next follow up with the Garnier Ultimate Blends Banana Hair Food which I also leave in. I then finish off with Catwalk by Tigi Curls Rock, again on very damp/wet hair, then brush through all this together with a Denman brush in small sections. This creates amazing curl definition.This leave-in has revived my hair no end. It feels lovely in my hair. It’s got great slip and easy to apply through the hair as it is quite runny and creamy. It great as a detangler for me too. It’s made brushing through with a denman brush so much easier. It’s made my curls super conditioned and bouncy and curly again. I don’t get product build up with this when reapplying on other days. I often re-apply mid-week to refresh and recondition my hair between washes as well, which also works well for me. I usually only fully wash my hair once every 7-10 days. Curls are better the less they're washed in my experience. 10/10 for this product from me. Great price when it £3.66 and better than any of the really pricey brands I’ve tried in the past…..and believe me I’ve tried loads and loads and loads of them. This is now a holy-grail product for me. I had never used a leave in conditioner before. I have lots of relatively fine hair, prone to a bit of frizz. I looked up best leave in conditioners 2021 and this came up a few times. To be frank, it was the cheapest one that came up in more than one ranking. This was the main reason I chose it. I must say, I'm really happy with it. I don't shy away from pricey products for hair but, this type of product was new to me and pricey doesn't always mean worth it. I'm really happy with this one, it smells kinda like a kerestase scent. I have noticed an improvement in my hair shinyness and most magically! The hairs at the nape of my neck don't go all curley and messy! I use about a 10p sized dollop, finger comb it through my damp hair, dry it when it's less damp and it never feels like I have anything left in my hair. Absolutely no sticky residue, just soft shiny qnd more manageable hair! I've tried Loreal and Aussie so far. Both didn't help me. They did give me temporary smoothness for some hours, but left my hair more dry on the next day. I think it varies with individual hair types. But this one keeps my hair soft and smooth for more than 72 hours and is completely non-sticky. It smells great also. The pic shows my 4 th day after hair wash and my hair was still smooth . It enhances my natural curls also. I took off one star as I am still not sure if it has got any long term side effects. I adore all the Charles Worthington product line but this conditioner especially. It has a creamy rich texture, and very pleasant scent that leaves your hair smelling fresh and clean without being too floral. I have very long, very thick, wavy hair and I'm used to running through a bottle of conditioner at least every 3 weeks, with this product a small amount goes a very long way. It keeps my hair bright without being oily and soft throughout the day. It has never caused any issues with body acne as some oily conditioners can. I cannot reccomend this product highly enough! I remember when I first started using it my hair went from dull and dry to wavy and soft in the space of 3 days. The best is to use it in combination with the leave in conditioner also from the Charles Worthington line. It has worked well on my hair which is long and colour treated. My hair has a mega tendency to frizz out (thick hair but with fine hair strands) and this has worked better than so many other produces I’ve had, smoothing and adding shine after straightening, and also having the bonus of heat protection! It does not weigh my hair down at all and as it smooths so well, I have not had to re straighten until the next wash.
