exact replacement for my 2000 Mako Center Console
exact replacement for my 2000 Mako Center Console but I dont see the need for the ball thats included. It easy to install using existing hole and screw holes. All i needed was a phillips screwdriver.

Why the foam ball?
This fits my deck just fine..however the foam check ball is.. garbage , it will prevent water flow both ways since it gets "stuck". a screw driver poking it will get it to DRAIN but its a pain and dangerous

A Better Description an d/or Caveat Would Be Beneficial.
While the grill appears to be white in the add, the actual color received was an off-white or light cream color.Additionally, in the new one, the drain was not the same depth of my original (approx 2 1/2 " vs 3 1/2"). As such, I could not use the new replacement. Unfortunately I broke my old one upon removal and have yet to find an exact replacement rendering my boat un-usable until I do.Perhaps a more precise description of the item would be beneficial. The sales rep I dealt with stated that they had heard these concerns before. As such they should have a caveat in their add to avoid repeated issues and disappointments as best possible.I must state that while I would rather have received what I was seeking, L&M handled the return and refund flawlessly! I would welcome the opportunity to buy from them again!
