The Wesco 273400 4-way pallet truck is made of steel, is suitable for lifting and transporting pallets, and can enter a pallet from any of its four sides. Steel resists wear and corrosion. The loop-shaped pump handle can be used to jack up the forks and maneuver the pallet truck, and it swivels to provide a 101-degree turning radius. The handle is rubber-coated for grip. A trigger on the handle releases and lowers the forks. Nose wheels and the forks' tapered ends facilitate loading. The polyurethane steering wheels at the handle measure 6" in diameter won't puncture or go flat, and are resistant to impact and wear. The load wheels at the fork tips measure 1.7" in diameter and are made of steel. Push rods allow the height of each fork to be adjusted in case of an imbalance. The pallet truck has an overload bypass valve for safety. This pallet truck has a load capacity of 4,000 lb., weighs 241 lb., and measures 47 x 33 x 48 inches overall (H x W x L). (H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; L is length, the horizontal distance from front to back.) It has a service range of 1.75 to 6 inches high. Pallet trucks, also known as pallet jacks, skid jacks, and pump trucks, are used to lift and transport pallets or skids of goods.
