Build quality is very good its heavy as expected but its diameter is very small for Roti good for making puri.

The product didn't roll out the dough like it is supposed to. The dough is way too thick. It claims that it doesn't pinch the dough but it does. Not suitable for making phulkas/rotis

I'm going to be honest-- I've never used this for its intended purpose. I purchased this because I'm on the hunt for the best way to make thin, crispy-edged burgers. This has been my best hack I've found so far. This thing is SOLID (I mean she's HEAVY) but in a good way. I roll my seasoned ground beef into a ball, place it between two sheets of parchment paper, and press it in the tortilla press until it's the desired thickness (which, for me, is very thin). I've tried other ways to get this result, but so far this press has been the fastest, easiest, and most consistently successful way I've found. The only negative I can say is that since it's so heavy, storage is a bit of a pain and cleaning it can be too. Luckily, since I use parchment paper, most of the time the press never gets dirty so I don't have to clean it frequently.

After watching a few videos online I decided on this tortilla press and I am not disappointed. It makes consistent sized and thickness tortillas. It is well constructed and heavy duty. I would highly recommend.
