I ordered these so I can play card games with my 6-year-old, but they were extra appealing since they are waterproof and he is very clumsy spilling things often. These are plastic playing cards, and they are very smooth. They are a nice color, and I actually love the unique red and blue colors as they are different than the typical ones you see. They take a little bit getting used to when shuffling and dealing since they are a little bit slippery but not too much where it is annoying. I actually feel I have more control with these when doing fancy shuffling, but it took me a little bit to get used to them like I said before I could. I got mine completely soaked, and they drive perfectly fine and you can't tell they were even wet. This is perfect for kids or even people that are partying if they are spilling things or they get all full of food or other dirty things. This is an excellent idea, and I can tell these are going to last a long time. If my son gets a bunch of jelly or things on them that normally would stain, you just wash them off and good like new!

My family loves to camp. I love to camp. When we are out in the woods at night, sometimes we want to read and sometimes we want to play games at a table. You do need to be a bit choosy when taking games with you on a camping trip. Games with softer paper pieces are to be avoided, as any moisture will quickly ruin them. This means most card games don't do well. However, if you get a game with PLASTIC cards like this game has, it's a different story. These cards can take moisture without any problems. Heck, you could play with these cards while sitting in a hot tub!If you are a fan of playing cards and know that you'll be out in a wet area, you'll want to get a deck of cards like these.
