Great human grade food for your pup!
The Portland wet dog pouches are some of the best human grade dog food you will find. I love the variety pack as my doggies loose interest in their food fast, so being able to switch it up with different flavors is great.

Local is best, and this one is really worth the $
I live in the Pacific Northwest and have a young rescue dog who is not really food motivated. I have spent money on all kinds of quality commercial dog foods that dogs i owned in the past readily ate, but this one has walked away from or reluctantly eaten (after 36 hours). It is not good for her to starve herself, and although my motto is "They'll eat if they are hungry" I saw her getting skinnier and skinner over time -- for a young dog of about 2.5 years, that's never good. I've had her checked out thoroughly and worked with her to reduce or eliminate phobias and behaviors she picked up as a street puppy. So after months of trial and error with those pricey national brands of wet and dry foods, I found the Portland Pet Food company. Like some of the other 'national' brands of pouched meals (hello Farmer, Ollie, and the like) Portland Pet Food is human grade meat, some kind of starch (potato, rice, yams or pumpkin) and one or two other vegetables like green beans and carrots. NO weird spices (one of the brands included cinnamon!) and very little added moisture, unlike brands that rely on 'gravy' to look appealing to the hoomans. So now I scoop a quarter cup of high-end kibble and a third of a pouch of Portland Pet Food into her bowl, give it a stir, and she's ready to scarf it down. She's still food bowl shy, a psychological scar she picked up at the massive dog rescue facility where she was placed with 70 other rescues on a ranch, but since I switched over to a different food twice a day, this little gal is progressing in a healthy way... and one day I can even dream of training her for Agility or Therapy.

Happy Dog!
Our dog is very finicky. We have tried several different bands of dog food, and none of them seem to float her furry little boat. We decided to try this. She absolutely loves it, and hoovers it as soon as I get it in her dish. The others we tried, she would let sit for a few days before she finally ate it, and only because she was too hungry to turn up her nose. I highly recommend this. She loves all varieties of it, but I think the salmon is her favorite.

Great product but the packaging is annoying
My dog loved this dog food. It seemed very good quality but the packaging is just annoying. I use it as a topper for a large dog so my dog has half in the morning and half at night. The way the packaging is constructed, it is so hard to get the last half serving out. They could make the packaging without that fold on the bottom that just holds the food in there. To get it out, you end up cutting up the package and scraping it out. There are just so many quality foods out there, that I just buy something else.

I haven't tasted it, but three dogs in my home LOVE it. I can say that it smells good enough to eat.
This is an awesome product. It's a great topper for most dogs, I have one who will only eat this with chicken I cook. She is elderly and has health issues. She has earned it. I do not like the packaging, while it stays fresh and sealed, it's hard to get it all out and I feel the package is a bit wasteful. For our home, it would be nice to use a larger bag rather than many small.

Dogs love it
Our dogs have allergies and can only eat salmon food which can be hard to find. They loved this food and ran to their bowls. My only complaint, and it's a small one, is the pleat in the bottom of the bag made it hard to get all the food out and a little messy. Buy, I would certainly buy this again.

Not for a puppy
The food seems very good in terms of ingredients but my 4m old puppy got ill when she tried the chicken meal. She vomited and started a diaria with blood on the stool. I will wait a while until i consider again
