Seems solid
We had a wooden gate installed here before. The dogs decided they didn’t like being in the basement when stuff was going on upstairs and chewed the wood apart. This gate is solid metal and they haven’t been able to damage it so far. Easy to install with the included hardware. The lock seems sturdy.

Best gate to use with an active baby
The gate is tall enough to keep our son contained yet short enough that I can step over it. Our son tries to wiggle the gate and shake it, but it's on there very well. I don't have to worry about it coming loose. It's super easy to install and only took a few minutes. We do not have the extension in for this spot, but would also work well in wider areas.

Reliable gate
This gate is very good quality, and it is also sturdy in my 40 inch wide door opening. I watched a video of a different brand’s gate and the guy who posted the video showed the gate was very flimsy. Not this gate. Very sturdy and reliable. I like that the gate can open & close from both directions and it stays open if you open it to 90 degrees. And it self closes if you don’t push it all the way open to 90 degrees. Highly recommend.

Versatile
Great product. We installed it outside on our balcony stairs to keep the dogs from having accidents on our balcony floor, because they love to mark their territory. We’ve had it for a month and it remains in great shape!

Nice sturdy gate
I installed myself in about 15 minutes. I used the pressure expand feature, I did not screw into the door frame. The gate is very secure and very good quality. I love that it closes and locks by itself. Very nice gate.

Auto close feature worked for all of 2 weeks
Paid 3 times more for this than other gatesc because of the size of the opening and already the auto close feature isn't working. We need to be sure abs close it manually or out puppy will have free reign of the house.
