Jaybirds X2 Wireless Earbuds deliver superior audio performance in a sporty, compact and sweat-proof package. These supremely comfortable headphones feature a patented Secure Fit and can take whatever you dish out, whether it’s an intense workout or a session on the slopes. With its super-capacity Battery HD technology, the Jaybird X2’s keep the music playing for up to 8 hours of premium, skip-free music on the go. PAIRING (SETTING UP) HEADPHONES WITH YOUR PHONE / MUSIC DEVICE 1. With headphones turned off, & within 1 meter (3 feet) of music device, press & hold center key for more than 4 seconds until you see alternating red/green flashing of the status indicator and a voice prompt saying “Searching for your music device”. 2. On your phone/music device, turn Bluetooth on & have it search for Bluetooth devices (see instructions in the phone/music device manual for details). 3. Check for “X2” and select (enter passcode 0000 if prompted). 4. X2 voice prompt will say “headphones connected”. 5. If the pairing is not successful, switch off headphones by pushing the center key for more than 4 seconds and repeat the steps outlined above.HOW DO I CHARGE MY HEADPHONES? Analyze the primary power and charging source. We find computers to be a great, safe method. Anything that is less than 1 AMP is safe and recommended. Over charging your battery will quickly reduce the life of the headset, so along with monitoring the power supply, try to keep your charge time limited to 2.5 hours. To get the most out of your battery it is recommended to charge the buds when the low battery status is indicated.

Great headphones. 8/13/18 Update: AWESOME headphones.
I purchased these because I lost my first pair and it's not on the Jaybird website anymore.I really really loved my first pair. This refurbished one is great also but after 4 months am experiencing some issues with it.Every now and then it will turn off for no reason and I'll have to turn it on again. Sometimes there is some crackling in the sound. This doesn't happen very often so I give it a pass especially considering I use them very heavily every day. Overall good quality and comfortable.8/13/18 UPDATE: Have had these headphones for approximately a year and 2 months now and it has finally quit on me (kinda). The left ear piece finally gave out. Right side still works just as good as day 1.I was very surprised at the longevity of these headphones because I use these Every. Day. for at least 6-8 hours (my work allows headphones so I have it on constantly and recharge every night). This is not including the 1 to 2 hours I have it on for gym use 3-5 days out of the week and the sweat proof feature really comes in handy. Absolutely recommend because even though my pair has given up after over a year, I have to admit that I really put mine through the grinder with wear and tear.Added notes: I read some of the other reviews on here and wanted to elaborate on my experience.-If you have small ear canals, these might not be the right choice for you. I find these comfortable but I've been using earbuds for sports/exercise for many years and also prefer the fit because these will not fall out even when I tug on the wire.-As for the sound, it is not going to be the best/top quality but i would say it's still up there. I even hear more details from these headphones than I do from the generic speakers in my car.-It's not going to be noise cancelling either but it will muffle a lot of sounds. I prefer to be able to hear ambient noises as I like to run at the park or am asked something at work.-The bluetooth connectivity was always reliable. Did not have any problems with it unpairing. As I said before, it would randomly turn off every now on then but turning it back on it would always resume connection. Might depend on phone or other electronic you have connected to it.-Was really great for phone calls. People heard me a lot clearer talking into these than if they had to hear me talking to them on speaker phone.

Noice isolation, sound quality, they don’t fall out!!
You get what you pay for with Jaybirds, but with this I bought my pair 2 years ago and when my son wanted a pair I saw these that were a generation newer and much cheaper than when I got mine. Couldn’t be more pleased with them. They don’t fall out no matter what workout you are doing and the battery life last the complete time. Even if I run a marathon plenty of battery to make it. The sound quality are the best that I have experienced with earbuds. They seal in your ear so you don’t have to turn up the volume too loud to drown out the ambient noise. But if you want them up loud they will be almost too loud. I work with machinery in my wood shop and I use them as ear plugs with the volume on medium to medium low, that is how good they drown out the noise around. Very very impressed with my first gen jaybird x’s, and the x2’s are everybit as good. And for 60+ you can’t get better earbuds!!

Should have read "Some parts NOT included!"
Well, I've used Jaybird X2 before and loved them. But I have always ordered direct from Jaybirds. I ordered this one due to the price. I should have looked at the fine print. I didn't realize that these were refurbished. Apparently refurbished has been replaced with renew. Well I didn't get the rubber ear buds that come with the original model. So now I either order them or send them back... and order direct from Jaybirds as I have done in the past. Amazon needs to be more transparent when it allows sellers to sell refurbished items by highlighting that. Don't get me wrong. I've bought plenty of refurbished electronics before. The thing is do I want to put something in my ears that another person I've never meet has? Something to think about.

Very Nice Pair Of Buds
I used them at the gym, i used them at work, i used them at home, I loved them. Made the stupid mistake of letting my ex keep them. You can walk about 30 feet in some places depending on interference and they wont lose connection. The sound is good. They pretty much will stay in your ear without much of a fuss. Battery life is what it says. Nothing more nothing less. Overall a nice pair of buds. You get your money's worth.

5 star when new, 4 star refurb
I loved my new pair of these. But they died before their time. These refurb ones are pretty good, as long as you select one of the reputable refurbers. Don't buy the cheapest ones— they're usually from badly reviewed refurbers. But they're not perfect. The sound is a little different. More low end loss. Occasional scratchy mids. The connection also seems to drop out a little more readily. Battery life is terrif though. These aren't as perfect as a new pair, but they're good bang for the buck.

Where to start...
I tried to respect the reviews by almost all youtubers praising this product ( im looking at you MKBHD), oh boy, I should’ve gone with Beats, here’s the list.8 hour battery? Nope, just 2.5250 hour standby time? Please... after my day off without using them, they were flat by the next day30 feet range? Hahahaha! The first thing I used them for was for a 5 mile bike ride and every time I looked to the right to check on traffic, the audio skipped. Why I don’t exchange/return them? Im gonna gift them to my sister-in-law...she doesn’t like me very much.

great quality earphones ...but!!
I bought this and I knew what I was getting when I read refurbished, they still might be some defects, the earphones work good but one of the earphones came apart, I was able to repair it with some glue the other thing that I didn't like was that it came with just one pair of earphone tips and it doesn't even fit my ear I tell ya' it's a struggle but i still get to enjoy the quality sound of the earphones...wish they could have put the other set of earphone tips.
