Q: How long do they last before you need to replace one? And do you need to order a whole set or can you just order one color?

I like them. Use for coloring books. Nice fill in. Not good for details. I haven't used them up yet. Had to buy set.

Q: can these be used to paint on rocks?

No they are like a water color paint. Would not hold on rocks.

Q: Has anyone here tried these on prepped (gesso'd )medium grade canvas? I have several small new canvasses I would like to use the pen brushes on.

Yes you can and they work great , control the about of water used , the pen brushes work beautiful , Happy painting

Q: Can I use these on concrete wall for mural?

I have not tried to use them for this purpose and would guess they would not be ideal for use on concrete walls. They are great for use on paper and for high detail.
