The 203 PV Jr. vise head is a work-holding tool accessory
designed for versatility. Its 5/8" (15.9 mm) post diameter is
compatible with the PanaVise 300 series product line of bases.
The 203 PV Jr. vise head has jaws composed of reinforced thermal
composite plastic that are 2" (50.8 mm) tall x 1" (25.4 mm) wide,
and open to 2-7/8" (73 mm), and are suitable for holding small
tubes, rods or small circuit boards. The grooves along the jaws'
inner edges are designed for dependable holding power, while the
fine/coarse adjusting knob controls provide jaw pressure for
delicate work. When combined with a compatible base, the 203 PV
Jr. vise head is suitable for small projects such as arts and
crafts, jewelry and model making, electronics. Becasue vise uses
such as circuit board wiring and jewelry making involve
soldering, the vise head assembly of the PanaVise 203 PV Jr. is
highly heat resistant, with continuous heat tolerance to 350
degrees F (177 degrees C) and intermittent heat tolerance to 450
degrees F (204 degrees C).
