Galt Ambi Toys, Max Pull Along

My 17-month old twins love their pull along pup, (especially my boy; he walks from room to room in circles, for ages, with his new buddy!) I am glad the play is active play, because we have enough toys that keep them sitting still, but here's one that has them in motion, and safely indoors. I am really happy to find toys that are not electronic, so I've gotten them a number of these Ambi toys. All are sturdy and so well thought out, for toddlers! They are very much like the toys I remember having as a kid in the 70s. Also, they come nicely packaged in boxes that aren't hard to open and unpack--I really appreciate that!

It's very cute & does what it says it will do in terms of movement & noise. The one we got has the wheels that are outwardly blue. Some of that blue wound up on the dogs face on one side giving it some little whiskers. Not a deal breaker, but it did bother the recipient a little.

This puppy is supper cute and a lot of fun for little ones to pull around. The tail wags and the ears bob when it is pulled. My one year old picked this out for her birthday and adored it. She and her two younger siblings have both used it for several years now. It has held up.

Our 11 month old got this for Christmas, and he loves to walk back and forth (constantly) in the house with his doggy. He's obsessed with it.

This was bought as a present for our one year old grand daughter. It's well built and sturdy enough to withstand her attentions! She just loves it, so everyone is happy

Good thing

Chose this for our 16 month grandson based on Galt's reputation for well designed toys. Within 30 seconds of him being given the toy he was screaming, having trapped his fingers between the smaller wheels and the dog's body. Our own kids were brought up with Galt toys and we were regular visitors to the old factory shop in Cheadle, so we're really surprised and disappointed with this toy's design.
