The ties look great and the personalised fit for me is preferable to individual rubber ties, bit fiddly to set up but well worth the time spent

Pros: at the time of writing the flat, white laces are a lot cheaper than the famous other brand you might have considered.Cons: the way they are put together you need to get exactly the right length for the laces first time or you’re stuffed and will have to buy another one (b/c you cut them to length — if you cut too much you can’t adjust that later). That other well known brand has a different fitting mechanism that allows you to try the length for a few days before you cut them, which on reflection i should have gone for instead.Fortunately the flat white laces were cheap enough i could order twice. The calculation would be different for the other laces, which are currently more expensive.

i exclusively wear boots (because i want the world to know i’m cool - and they support my ankles)it’s so embarrassing having to ruin my street cred (is that what the kids are saying?) by trying to undo a backwards plait. particularly after a heavy night.now i can slide out of shoes no problem. and have the option to not have visible bows. i bought two pairs in case one/both laces snapped, and these are sturdy enough to make me think i won’t need to use the backups for a long time.but honestly, thank you for these, i don’t know if this product meant to, but you have really made a difference to a newly-disabled metal head.
