I got the double pair with one red pair and one black pair and I'm glad I did because when I'm handling something heavy and hot, I like to double up on each hand because one mitt by itself feels very thin and some heat gets through depending on what you're holding and for how long.When I'm handling something quick like an oven tray or toaster oven it's great with just one pair. They are super easy to clean being silicon. Just some soap and water and you're on your way.

We can't use this to hold hot utensils.If used with hot utensils, surface of product is being burnt and creating marks.I received Grey color, product has some other colors why misinterpretation ??!!

Similar to others, i bought these because of the ratings.I actually laughed when i took a baking sheet out of the oven set at 350* and looked at the mit. I think you'd have to go out of your way to design a crappier product.1) Quality. These look like a toy they are so thin.2) Heat Transfer. At 350* i could feel the heat through the mit after only about 3 seconds. I have a starfrit version that is at least 4 times thicker3) Material. This is the one that prompted me to write this review. it melted immediately. LOL4) Safety. If i held on to the mit for ~10 seconds and the rack was 350*, i am sure it would have melted through to my fingers.

These things are great if you use them properly. I use mine to take sometining out of the microwave or maybe the air fryer. In some reviews people are claiming that you can get burned easily, that the heat comes through and can burn. I suppose so. But these, I assume, are made for just carrying something from point A to boint B, not for holding something very hot for any length of time.If used properly they are quite handy and just right. I think I am going to paint shark faces on them for my little grand nephew. They'll make nice little play things for the kids.
